Jean Paul Gaultier Homme AW 05/06 (Paris)

<shrugs> What's so interesting about this? Expected more from JPG. I don't get it, according to Lena, JPG has been the #1 worldwide seller for years. What is this "firing workers to stay in the black" business?

Bakla, JPG has a boutique on Madison (around 68st). If it makes a difference (and if he's still there), there is an asian guy there, Chris, he is very sweet. He was my salesman in Barneys for years before he went to JPG.

Yeah, I found out he does after I posted. But one wonders if it'll still be there this spring when the Fall clothes get shipped considering his money woes...!

Ngth, thanks for the Comme reference - I wasn't following designer menswear as closely in the 80s (why tempt myself with what I couldn't afford? ;)) with the exception of Mugler & Montana! I just mentioned the tucked in look because it looks very similar to what was in OWN's collection from last Fall (except double breasted, which is fresher now), and it makes it too recent a refeence, as opposed to referencing 80s ideas, IMHO. Of course, I'm sure that it's just a case of "great minds think alike"...

Curiously enough, there's apparently 27 looks for Gaultier, not the previously released 16. men.style.com has more outfits on view, plus the fact that it's all on the one model, Florent.

The double jkts you post looks fab. I think short jkts are big next winter, but only Gaultier made short double brested:-)
