Dazed & Confused publisher Jefferson Hack says he has a "good" relationship with his ex Kate Moss - the mother of his daughter Lila Grace - and that the model is a "great mum".
And although he wouldn't voice an opinion of Kate's current squeeze Pete Doherty, Jefferson was more than happy to talk about his own recent modelling experiences, alongside his Belgian girlfriend Anouck Lepere.
"I'm on some posters for Gap," he says. "Helen Mirren had just finished shooting her picture when I did mine.
"It's not about fashion modelling - it's just about photographing people. They use people who aren't models and why not?
"It's flattering and nice to be asked. My girlfriend was in the picture with me and that made me feel a lot more comfortable.
"I think to do a picture with someone you love with is great. At the end of the day they are not looking at me, they are looking at her. She's much better looking than me and I knew it was going to be an easy shoot!"
Jefferson is busy promoting MySpace's and Dazed & Confused's broadcast (RED)alert which is a "visual pledge of support" to World Aids Day.
The broadcast, featuring artwork, video shorts and images is for 24 hours today.
He comments: "The RED campaign has an incredibly positive role to play. It's a helpful and innovative idea and if you add it to everything else it's very powerful."
