Sure she's not the most aesthetically gifted, but that's only a fraction of what the big picture is. If everyone had that mentality, then you'd have a lot of screwed up couples with screwed up kids.

Am I the only one that thought that Jennifer Aniston was the better looking half of the couple? Brad pitt always looked like some peroxided ape that spent too much time tanning and not enough time reading books.

I was never a Brad Pitt groupie, actually I started to really really like him when he and Jen were on the red carpet,etc... because he seemed to gentle and nice with her. Of course he's a good actor. But looks-wise he was never my number 1. He is attractive, of course. But Jen is hot also. They seemed to fit together well, so to say that Angelina is so much prettier than Jen and thats why its good that Brad left her - is nothing but superficial and dumb.

I completely agree. There is a very hateful attitude that seems to me like, "How could she let such a good-looking man break up with her?" It's this misogynist attitude of, you should do everything you can to hang onto a good-looking man, and if you're not hot enough to keep him interested, it's your fault. That's the sick twisted justification people make to hate on her.

Which series of Friends did you like Jennifers style as Rachel the most?

I really liked the clothes she wore in the 9th and 10th series (I desperately searched Ebay for a Levis t-shirt she and Kate Moss have both worn but couldn't find it), but I also think she really pulled off the whole 90s look in the first series.

I liked Seasons 2 and 5 the best.

Season 2 provided us with the Rachel cut and she wore little cute waitress outfits with little button-down shirts and miniskirts. She dressed really casually and cute with a lot of colour. Little plaid or pleated miniskirts and stuff like that... very Clueless/90's. Casual white vnecks, showed off her legs a lot.

Season 5 she was really thin but her hair was this beautiful golden and was a wonderful length (shoulder) and very stick-straight. She wore the famous strapless yellow dress when she is fighting with Monica in the hall. A lot of casual cargos, tanks, etc. this season. Blue jeans and tight black or grey knit sweaters were my favourite look she wore. Came back from Greece looking tanned and sexy.

Brad was a serial cheater. He had cheat on Jen before Angelina came along. I know of someone personally who slept with him and he cried and cried after. Apprently it was an ongoing problem with them. HE IS A DOG.

Then he cheated again, but with Angelina. This time, it was public. Brad and Jen packed it in, he moved on - which was also made convenient for him as Angelina is considered this this saintly goddess of good and sex, all wrapped into one. Also, it was a ready-made family for him, better than, say, leaving Jen for an extra he happened to screw on the set of Troy.

Anyone recall the TRASH tshirt he wore on Brad & Jen's farewell holiday together, just before announcing the split? He knows he was a sh*t, etc etc but he couldn't keep it in his pants and finally he gave his heart to someone else, BECAUSE HE WAS/IS AN UNFAITHFUL CAD , not because he was 'trading up' as it were.

My conjecture: Angelina has a dangerous edge (& the kids!) that he hopes will keep him both 1) in line and 2) in the spotlight.

Hollywood's a weird place, but sometimes these things are a bit too obvious to be comfortable.

Jennifer Aniston will make her first-ever Academy Awards appearance on March 5, where the former Friends star will serve as a presenter onstage at the Kodak Theatre.

The invitation from Oscars organizers is a big step for the former Friends star as she converts from TV star to film actress. Her most recent films were Derailed and Rumor Has It. This week in Sundance, her new movie, Friends With Money, premiered.

Other Oscar presenters already announced include last year's winners, Jamie Foxx and Hilary Swank, as well as Luke Wilson and Morgan Freeman.

Meanwhile, at Sundance, Aniston made the rounds alongside good friend Catherine Keener. As PEOPLE reports in its latest issue, Aniston avoided the limelight, preferring quiet meals with her close friends and charming Ming Tsai of the Boston-area eatery Blue Ginger – one of several chefs in Park City for the festival – by praising his ahi tuna parfait.

"She was very sweet to everyone," says another Sundance-goer. "All smiles."
