I wish I had a boyfriend,' complains Jerry Hall 10 years after splitting with Mick Jagger
17th November 2009
They put up with their husband’s womanising behaviour for decades of marriage but that hasn’t stopped Jerry Hall or Jo Wood pining for new love. The rock ex-wives now seem to have formed the Rolling Stone’s Lonely Hearts Club confessing they are keen to find new relationships.
Miss Hall said: ‘I wish I had a boyfriend. It would be a lot of fun but I don’t so [things are] pretty boring. Like most people, I hope to stay healthy, I hope the kids are okay and anything else is a bonus.’
The 53 year-old blonde wed Jagger in 1990 more than ten years into their relationship, and the couple have four children, Elizabeth, 25, James, 24, Georgia, 17, and Gabriel, eleven. The marriage ended in 1999 after it emerged he had fathered a child with Brazilian model Luciana Morad.
He is now dating 40 year-old model and designer L’Wren Scott but Miss Hall, who received £12.5 million in the divorce settlement, insists she is still very close to the rock star.
‘We are very friendly. We have always got on well – he’s very funny, interesting and intelligent. We talk on the phone every week and he tries very hard to keep up with the children,’ she said. ‘I’m just really happy that Mick hasn’t disappeared. The thing is that we don’t hate each other.’
She told Surrey Life magazine that she had moved on from the singer but wanted to find a boyfriend. Her comments come after close friend and confidante Miss Wood confessed she was ready to find love after her split from Ronnie Wood. The 53 year-old was left heartbroken when the star left her for 20 year-old Russian waitress Ekaterina Ivanova last year.
The pushed up breasts are on show, the bling jewellery, pink velour tracksuit and visible underwear are all there, and the pout is highly glossed.
But this isn't Katie Price, it's former Rolling Stone wife Jerry Hall impersonating the glamour model.
After her recent turn in Calendar Girls the 53-year-old performs a primetime comic turn, pretending to plug one of the prolific Miss Price's luridly detailed autobiographies.
The photos are a sneak preview of an impersonation show on ITV which sees celebrities take off each other.
