Jil Sander F/W 2025.26 Milan

Can we talk about how everyone thinks it’s their last show because Renzo rosso or someone waltzed up to the Meiers with flowers or something?

This is a collection one would design to stick it to corporate and throw in the towel. There was literally not one single item of clothing in this line-up with any appeal whatsoever - to a man or a woman. The accessories were worse.

Those pinned shoes are hideous. The collection is really directionless.

Feel like Renzo was generous in giving them one last show, they should have ended it last season. This one won’t have any marketing push behind it whilst we wait for the Bally guy to move in.

Just awful :( some of their collections weren't so bad but this doesn't look like anything special, and that's the worst part of it. Also don't make me comment again how this is another collection with the "neutrals/blue/red/pink" color palette!

I miss Raf's collections for the house, I think it's really the only time he knew how to design well thought out and uncontrived womenswear.

Raf for Jil was perfect, no question about that. Sarah Mower was damn right in reviewing the first WW show under Raf's direction: it takes a northern soul to understand another one (then, maybe, we can leave to a different thread the discussion on what was Raf's and what was Patrick VO's merit in shaping the new identity for the house...).
One thing is for sure: The Meiers never really got the spirit of Jil, it's like they didn't even know where they were...their work was as bad as the brief, luckily forgotten tenure of Milan Vukmirovic during the Prada years...

Their worst collection.
What a way to leave…
Dreadful.
