this is the genius of the type of minimalism brought in by brands like celine and the row: when done right, there's absolutely nothing better. when done wrong, it only reminds you of those who do it right. this collection from jill stuart completely did it wrong and in doing in wrong, it just reminds us of how genius celine really is. seriously, jill stuart needs to stick with her party girl aesthetic....as repetitive as it is, it's so much more authentic.
