Maybe the inspiration in the nature, like the roses-shaped heels and that sweater with grass. Nothing more.

I will remember his Loewe as something very gimmick focused and lacking a clear message. He had great moments but most of his collections felt like kitchen sink with random ideas thrown in. I loved his last collection and the spring 2022.

Damn, it's quite funny to see JWA's Loewe tenure eviscerated on here given how lauded he's been in the media over the years. I know the press aren't exactly objective, but still...opinions seem to be worlds apart 😄

yes, except for a very small minority; specifically, the japanese masters like yohji and rei, who built their successes off of pure ingenuity in fashion design. the same could be said for others like theyskens and galliano. although, in their case, i suppose both are technically no longer working at the moment? or at the very least only show sporadically.
