why are you even following her debut when you already know you hate her aesthetic? Did you think she would all of a sudden change her ethos to match yours because she moved to givenchy?

what change are you even expecting out of her that you're staying on the look out for her debut. It takes years to develop a vocabulary as an artist and she already has a very specific voice in fashion. Which as you mentioned is not your cup of tea. If you want edgey, bad *ss prints with i dont know what, she will not deliver. She will always go back to her hearts, her girl on the prairie look (i do hope she stop with the wet baby hairs stuck on the forehead look), swans, birds, peacocks.

I don’t know if she’s gonna change her McQueen style at Givenchy but it she wants success she definitely should. McQueen under her, leaving those fugly sneakers aside, was a total flop.

we havent seen the show yet. I like her output so far, taking Givenchy back to the cut, something very precise and meticulous. Im hoping LVMH will back her up with styling and imagery, because she lacks in this dept....

not if i expect him to do what i want.. im not an economist idc about the sales, if a brand is losing money but putting out shows i like. i will follow it

Well, if you like boring, directionless fashion with great manufacture she’s going to probably fulfill your expectations.

Since that is not what I’m looking for in a brand (great manufacture aside), she probably won’t fulfill mine. And it’s ok. And I will complain as much as I feel like.
