Jonathan Anderson - Designer, Creative Director of JW Anderson & Christian Dior

I really wish he’d expand his fabric choices at Dior, everything has been heavy and one dimensional.

I'd like to see the shoes from a different angle, but I think the sharp/flat inner toe is quite beautiful.

It seems like we're getting a very French Dior, which is perhaps an obvious statement, but MGC's Dior was always too Italianate (she never really moved past Valentino).. You can see the Chateau de la Colle Noire in these latest shoes, but the rugby shirts are also quite French, gesturing towards the Channel and the UK, but also towards the popularity of rugby in the south.

It’s charming. It’s a nice word to use in fashion sometimes. Those colors are refreshing for Dior. No more beige.
He is embracing that feminity, « La féminité retrouvée » and it’s good.
I take this over anything in the current offering.

Its hard not to see the SS1996 Galliano for GIVENCHY Haute Couture in that JISOO dress....

Remove the stupid bow with "Dior" written in it, and just focus on the design of the shoe. That way it would look better (and less corny too).
Indeed the logo make them look a little cheap, that’s true. I think the shape is very interesting and graphic.

The bow, I like it too, it’s like being cute for the sake of it, a little bit corny even but with a purpose. 🫣

I quite liked what I've seen from Jisoo's dress. I can only remember her wearing black or white, but that green looks good on her. Hopefully the rest is nothing like the stuff seen in Venice.
I did love Jisoo's dress! Very delicate, dreamy. I hope his Dior skews more to that than what we have seen on celebrities so far. I'm cautiously excited!
