Jonathan Anderson - Designer, Creative Director of JW Anderson & Christian Dior

The PR marketing around his debut collection has been WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too aggressive for the actual outcome of the collection.
I don't know about you, but it feels like any Z-list celebs and 50k influencers are wearing Dior SS26...kinda off putting.

These look like shoes I would find at the flea market from people selling sale designer items. It’s stuff people with no taste but want to be seen in “Dior” would buy.

I appreciate that Delphine likes to give designers creative license but come the F on! There’s a limit and that’s when you start to think “TRASH”.

Anyway I’m staying positive 🙃

MGC kinda opened that door to hell with her J'aDior/Diorevolution era. Logo products are cash cows, so it won't be easy to close it again.

True. I’m guessing the strategy is make these “entry level” products. I mean they will sell no doubt because like you said, they are a cash cow. They are just so painfully ugly and lazy.
