Jonathan Anderson - Designer, Creative Director of JW Anderson & Christian Dior

^I think he's running a tight concept across the men's and women's. 2005 Abercrombie & Fitch/Polo prep in a stately English country house/French chateau with obligatory Dior codes thrown in. The fashion element for men is the modern dandy thing whereas for women it's this almost princess-y girlishness with his usual surrealism to the point where the show felt like him doing a rendition of Alice in Wonderland. The creative direction is there, but it's the actual designs that are really not delivering which kind of ties in with the that rumor that he's being too hands off with the teams.

As for the customers, I don't know how to explain it but it looks very targeted at China to me. So targeted that it doesn't make sense in other countries in the region like Korea or Japan and especially not with North Americans as seen in the dinner pics. The men's looks like it has more international appeal though.

I like the clown wear, it at least looks intentional and maybe even new.

The commercial mini skirts etc remind me of early NG Balenciaga or Decarnin Balmain reduced/simplified to an emoji level or something.

I don't know if the new Cigale bag is gonna turn into a brand staple, but that grommet used as an "O" for Dior is just a juvenile detail that really cheapens the look of the bag.
Why not having the logo centered?

this bag won't be the new saddle nor lady dior its to contrived design , he should feel lucky if in first year it sells besides of gifting.
2027 we don't remember this bag lol

Law Roach maybe needs to rest on pulling the archives. It doesn’t really says anything substantial anymore today.

Galliano is always a hit but unless you pull the extraordinary stuff (something from the Matrix or Clochard or Mme Butterfly), I feel like he is wasting moments.

Maybe JW needs Patrick as the head of Couture and Redcarpet.
Those dresses needs editing. Unnecessary over-design.
