Jonathan Anderson - Designer, Creative Director of JW Anderson & Christian Dior

Has anyone ever made a compilation of his bows at the end of the show ? This is why I called him constipated, it's because he always looks awkward taking a bow ! 😆

lol at him saying they did the men’s collection in a month and a woman’s collection in less than a month. No way this can work
Everyone in Paris knew he basically joined the Dior Atelier and started the onboarding with the rest of the Dior team since the beginning of the year. His debuts shows for both menswear and womenswear are actually the greatest amount time he had to come up with a collection.
bullsh*t.

The funniest thing is that Delphine is the last woman on earth you would picture wearing or buying something from JWA.
She's the literally embodiment of MGC style LOL actually she's more Raf since she looks very cold, cynical, extremely discrete and in general lacking empathy and passion for what she does.

To me the funniest thing is that my first thought was: "at least here she looks ok".

Which is why the choice of JWA for Dior is astounding, but I guess maybe the same was said about Galliano back then.

I think the only ones in that family with a genuine passion for what they do are Antoine and the kid running LV watches. The two with the least prospects of succeeding their father lol

So I went to the S/S2026 trunk show presentation and dear god, everything is very young and very expensive. I tried on the infamous polo shirt and unless you are 20s something and skinny or Asian, it reads way off. The jeans are way too long (I'm 6'3 in heels and still need to shorten it).

The quality is top notch though, can't fault him there. If anything, I think the accessories will be a hit with the hypebeast generation.

this came to me automatic when i read the comparision: “Don't compare yourself to me. Ever. You are not on my level. You never will be on my level.”

As much as I hated Dior under MGC (and expect to hate Fendi under her), I can at least acknowledge that she had some understanding of the house, regardless of how dour and basic it all looked. Her tenure will probably be forgotten ten years down the line, but at least it won't be remembered for being awful.

That might be a façade. I remember Ghesquière saying she wasn't afraid to grab scissors and cut clothes with him or something along those lines.

She appreciates the female body. MB and JWA seem to hate women, judging from the products they designed, esp. MB.
for me, from all the crew (Raf, Pieter, and JWA), MB is the only one who can make feminine and funny clothes that can be easy to wear even during the day

Are we going through the Frida's effect with MGC now?
