What looks like a cross between a giant spool of fairy floss, a life’s worth of ballerina fantasies, the bargain bin at the fancy-dress shop and carries a hefty fire-hazard warning?

Jordan’s wedding dress, that’s what.

The 27-year-old former Playboy bunny wed ex-pop star Peter Andre, 32, at Highclere Castle in the English countryside at Berkshire at the weekend.

The couple, who met last year on the I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! reality TV show, have been slammed by the British press for being incredibly naff. From the official snaps, sold for a rumoured ₤1 million ($2.4 million) deal to OK! magazine, they didn’t disappoint.

Jordan’s ample 32FF bust is enhanced with her hot pink off-the-shoulder bodice, above a frilly frou-frou canopy that would do the Bolshoi Ballet proud.

Flanked by pink lilies, well wishers and their concrete mixer-poured wedding cake, the model, whose real name is Katie Price, also sported an enormous train offset by her flowing highlights and a diamond tiara dwarfed by the puffiness of her dress. The whole created that “fairytale princess” look she so desperately said she wanted in earlier interviews.

Australian-Greek singer Andre, on the other hand, took a leaf from Liberace with his white-on-white ensemble which made him look more Siegfried & Roy than a nervous ex-bachelor. But it was definitely a day of magic for the pair, who had their first child, Junior Andre, in June this year.

I just had a look at the photos in OK! mag. Anyone seen that film Steel Magnolias and everything is pink? Well hold that thought. Jordan as usual is plastered in make up (but thats nothing new) Peter Andre has that bunny caught in headlights look and a forced smile on his face throughout. The dress really is a pink netting, merengue bomb and her tiarra is possibly bigger than her head. Still, she looked happy though. The wedding cake is a huge thing but in the bigger pics you can see that there's two gigantic hearts slapped on the side with Jordan loves Peter on them.
Each to their own I suppose. i thought the bridesmaids frocks were the most tasteful thing there - simple empire line ivory satin strapless dress with a pale pink bow under the bust.
