I never thought I'd like Junya, but now I really like his stuff and even own a couple pieces. I can totally see myself buying some of these jackets at sale time at Aloharag. Love his jackets!!!!

Thanks for the pics, ngth. :flower:

thanks nqth - do you know what the label on the jackets is? I assume its some maufacturers label along the lines of what he has done before.....I love the colours. Its very much how my husband dresses! Love the pumps.

Thanks for posting nqth.

I really like this collection. Very simple but with enough details and "quirks" to keep it interesting. I think the last jacket with the peak lapels is great, and will be bought by me!

There seems to be some kind of collaboration with lacoste - some polos at the end of the collection, not sure if you got hose nqth. That's a little bit tiresome to be honest. The suits are nice though, and I do indeed like the jackets with the nylon or plastic pockets.

The section at the end has the sort of dandy/casual/gentleman thing going on, with a top hat and jeans and those morning suit trousers that he did with levis. I kind of like that but it's probably not for me.

Overall I think it's a nice, intersting collection, with a kind of modern (AND relevant, contrasted with most other designers this week and last) take on basics.

You are most welcome, AlexN, Helena, Johnny:-)

I am curious about the label, too, Helena, but the pics are so small :-)

The last jkt is superb! I knew you would like this collection, Johnny:-) I have noticed the crocodile polos, too. they are a bit oversized, with softer colours. And the crocodile mark is a bit higher than usual, imo:-P Anyway I couldn't believe my eyes.

Some of the jkts are very much Comme. I think those fitted single breasted jkts with the blue plastic pockets, (which look really great and are my fav., too), are made from denim.

Love the thin legs low crotch jeans.

Do you like the CdG Shirt? It is v. simple basic imo this season.

nqth - haven't seen CDG shirt - will it be on catwalking too? is CDG shirt the mens equivalent to CDG CDG for women? ....maybe not as its cheaper isn't it....?

Yes, it is in catwalking. A bit cheaper and younger, imo:-)

A clearer view of the alligator.

I like most of the jackets in the collection but I would probably buy a size down and wear them with a closer fit (that is if I can afford one:()

hmmm, can't say I'm a fan. A lot of it looks like remade Carhatt. I'd have to see it up close though.

I hate the idea of re-making original brands like lacoste as rei kawakubo did with fred perry...money money is the only thing I can see in this

I love the jackets and the low crotch jeans. Will definately be buying some of this collection.

hmm, the more i'm looking at it, the more i see that it's just a CDG collection, from the colors to the cuts to the pieces presented. Where is Junya?

good collection...thanks to everyone for all the pics....
