The first two looks are great... a pretty strong collection. Very wearable yet unique.

:)

It looks quite disapointing for me actually. Maybe I expected sth more:-) The colletion looks good, dynamic and "the boots are really interesting".

Trouses are superb, tho. I think I am still in a "suit" mood:-)

I am also wondering if the fabrics are high-tech like goretex ... (like he did for women few years ago). Tailored "urban-adventurous" clothes are much better.

Those hats! They remind me of Cyrano deBergerac and his panache! :flower:

Is there an ode to Swiss kitsch in this? Somehow, everything I see points in that direction: logger boots, the knits;the hats which remind of yodelers...

yeah....i see that scott...somehow the hats and ropes are distracting from the clothes...but then when you really look at the clothes...i don't even like them...

not a good season for junya imo...

yea, a bit weird. hmmm. something is not clicking this season or what? Of course, the final test will be at the stores, as always ;)

I don't like it much either. Like nqth,I do wish there was a bit more structure because those shapes are like potato sacks.

swiss mountain climber theme I see.

There are a couple pieces I really like but like mikeijames said, nothing new.

nothing beathtaking and a bit on his own drum as always,
which doesn't bother me too much for ss05
since most menswear seem a bit flat and on the same tune.
i find it a good alternative for younger guys.

i like almost all the tops (shirts etc) and all his checked fabrics,
swiss mood sounds pretty good for summer vacations destination
as opposed to the current "fashion travel trends" eg: Milano africa trends etc

Have to admit, not really liking this. I find it irritating that JW for his menswear HAS to have an extraneaous theme to his clothing - eg, college student, wild west, happy army, mountaineer. I think his first collection was the only one that was really innovative, and to me at least, it didn't seems to have a laboured theme. I think it probably will look good in the store, but I just can't help feeling that he could do a lot better. Why would we want to look like a Swiss mountaineer, unless we were actually preparing to walk up a mountain in Switzerland!? It pains me to say this, but it actually reminded me of D Squared!

I also like the first collection! It was fresh and very JW-sweet :-) I think this AW 04 collection (with small suits) is also superb.
