you know we're in a global recession -- depression? -- when junya watanabe does a commercial collection. i absolutely love it, but i find it hard to see why anyone would find fault with ironic hats, expensive blazers, and denim since most men dress that way anyway.

runner that jacket is the highlight of the collection as far as I'm concerned (and the blue raincoat) - it's beautiful!

I agree, and I also think it’s positive that he’s going more commercial. It makes his clothes more approachable and you can still see that it is Watanabe.

Anyways, love the plaid coats, but this is definitely one collection you can recreate on your own w/ different pieces from different stores, for a fraction of the cost.
