Junya Watanabe MAN S/S 2015 Paris | the Fashion Spot

Junya Watanabe MAN S/S 2015 Paris

Well??....I guess it's safe to say that the theme color of the show is obviously blue...and denim is the fabric choice??....LOL

This is FINALLY a refreshing collection to see from Junya Watanabe.

Unfortunately....I can't stand denim...or even the color blue.

Blue is too easy...too predictable...and too safe of a color for men to wear....and besides myself, I don't know that many men who refuse to wear jeans, or denim.

He experimented with patterns this time...such as the brocade print pants...and a few of the graphics on the jackets. It's nice to see him present something other than "just" plaids and stripes.

This collection doesn't look so "preppy" as most of his prior collections do. It's a bit more edgy...and a bit more mean.

The only piece from this collection that I would actually wear is
the jacket in final presentation. Although, I'm not big on patchwork.

^That jacket was the one that stood out the most for me, for obvious reasons. I'm not that much into patchwork either but with Watanabe's treatment, it's inviting and appealing.

What a beautiful collection  You can torn each piece apart and get something interesting out of it.

I totally agree w/you WilhelF......this collection is much better than I had anticipated.

Oh Junya! Always my love! I can see myself wearing most of them!:heart:

The patchwork is so crafted,it's intriguing with simple idea.
