Really liked this summer 06 collection and fall looks great. Need to see more of summer 07 to make a judgement on it. Look's like Junya's going the same way with Lacoste as Comme has with Fred Perry. Works for one or 2 seasons but then it's probably a good idea to call it a day.

i have to say, of what ive seen so far, this season is really disappointing.. i cant wait to see raf simons and ann Dem pics... i hope to be impressed by other desingers... I see where Junya is coming from but i feel that this too in a way feels too gimicky in a conceptual way.. Im getting a very prep/golfer american vibe.. which i think is boring in a way...id like to see the garments in the store.. whats it with the golf hats int he styling..its over there at comme and all over here at junya.. i dunno.. im disappointed..last years spring collection was great..perhaps one of my fav junya collections..this doesnt equal it to me...

But as far as I can see it is the same philosophy as summer 06,reconstructed work wear, summer 07 it is reconstructed sport wear

John W - JW MAN x LACOSTE it is not like CdG SHIRT x FRED PEERY please see that:
JW made the LACOSTE polo tee by ready made LACOSTE polo tees, reconstuction process.
CdG SHIRT re disigned classic FRED PERRY with a CdG twist.
Also there are HUGE differences in prces between JW x LACOSTE and CdG SHIRT x FRED PERRY.

Thanks for the info guerilla boy. Was aware of the reconstruction process already in relation to Lacoste. What I meant was a one season collaboration makes it special. 2 or more seasons and it becomes well worn.
