Jurgi Persoons

OH...thanks Softie! :woot:

Yeah it's A/W 01. Those shoes are from that eclesiastical collection of A.F. Vandevorst....probably my favorite of all their collections.

mine too darling...;) ....:innocent:

glad you liked it...

:ninja:...
yeah...it's a tear from my book...the belgian designer story i did after coming back from antwerp/amsterdam...

actually...this is one of my least favourite pictures from that story...so i don't actually have it in my book...the af vandervoorst shot is a good one...and people really like the veronique branquinho shot...

but this was a great outfit!!...
i had some samples sent over from paris...they sent me a bunch of stuff to choose from...but these were my favourite pieces...
the fabric on the shirt was so light and crisp and soft all at the same time...i still remember it so clearly...and i loved the uneven waistband on the skirt....ahh...incredible...!!...and still chic and elegant...it made such a difference for me to see the clothes in person when i went there...

Ooh...can you post those two in the styling thread? I'd love to see those...

I adore this shot ;)

hmm great styling softie.. love that skirt and the way you match it up with those adorable t-straps and the red opaques

yes beautiful softgrey - looks like a great 'story'.

you guys are very sweet...
i just wanted to show you this outfit cause there are so few images of jurgi's work available...

*i don't know scott...it's hard to photograph and i don't have a scanner...
i'm really surprised this shot came out as well as it did...

i'll give it a try when i have some time and see if i can manage it... ;)

edit-and by the way..lena..you picked up on the thread running through the story to bring it all together....a 'touch' of red... :p

You know, the images actually have a nice, foggy, antiqued look about them which I think emphasises the sort of "Belgian-ness" of the story. Unintentional,I know but funny how they come out :P

Anyway,I really like the rest of these. Thanks for sharing :flower:

not unintentional at all..and i'm glad you noticed...thanks for the feedback...
very sweet...:flower:

just a few more pics i found while looking for scott's "present". these are from the mirror colelction, Scott posted some of these already, but i'll repost anyway, since they are bigger and give a nicer view of details.

the images are really hard to come by. google search gives next to nothing. if i had a scanner i could scan the images from a "young belgian fashion design" book i have, but i don't have a scanner (do people still buy scanners?)

You are welcome, Cerfas :flower:

i have a scanner. :furious:

if you can photograph stitches, i'm sure you'll have no problem photographing these images with your camera :innocent:

Ok, I'll try to take pictures, but they probably won't come out good because of glossy pages reflecting the light.

I was just about to say something in regards to the book, then your post scrolled down.

There were alot of strong bits in that collection that did not get shown anywhere on the web. I can do it,if you'd like. There's some other good stuff too from previous collections people haven't seen either I think will suffice to the amazing work of Monsieur Persoons ;)
