I like the colorblock dress, but I wouldn't pay $45 for the quality (or rather, lack thereof) of Target clothing. Maybe I'll look at some of the shorts/skirts. Must say I hate the Target shopping "experience" though. Fluorescent lights, disorganized racks, stained carpets....

The collection doesnt actually officially come out until Sunday (or is it Monday?). So even though some stores are putting it out early the site wont put it up for a couple more days.

So I went to the other Target & they have part of the collection & the couple items I was interested in (the navy silk dress & the floral dress)... I just wasnt that crazy about. I really didnt care for the navy silk one... didnt like the racer back & the floral one was kind of cute but I didnt love it enough to get it. I didnt like anything else. They didnt have the color block one yet... thats the one Im REALLY interested in but I might not be able to go back until Wednesday.

Anyone else checked out the collection yet?

If anyone is looking, the Target in Monrovia, CA has the line out. I tried on the shirt w/ the jewels on the front collar. It was pretty and I think shirts w/ stuff attached on them (like necklaces, etc) are supposed to be in for Fall, but it turned out to be really boxy and unflattering on me. Even the XS was the same. It was a shame because it's a good concept, and the construction seemed good. The green silky cami top w/ the pleating on the bottom was also underwhelming, as it seemed like something you could get at bebe or Forever 21.

The print tanks seemed to be selling the best, a lot of them were gone from the racks. The ones I liked were the purple-and-beige colorblock dress w/ the tie, the tanks, and the long cardigans.

tiffany7 overall it was okay. i kind of just want to try the zippered dress and see how it looks on me. i think the color palette is nice but i have a lot of the items in my wardrobe already so i'll be much more selective with this collection. going back tomorrow though!

I checked out alot of the collection today (they didnt have the pants or trench & one of the one of the black dresses) & I left with nothing. The color block dress was cute in the way it fit but I didnt like the fabric at all... it wasnt at all what I was expecting it to be like. I might check back later for the trench but I wouldnt be surprised if I bought nothing from this collection.

i bought the long cardigan in blue today at my local hometown target. it's really nice! at first i thought it was way too pricey at almost 40 dollars, but the material is actually 5% cashmere. it's super-soft and cut really slim in a thin knit, and it has these kind of epaulets at the shoulder that you don't really see in the pressroom photos. it's a very nice sweater -- now i'm thinking of getting it in black as well. it seems to be cut true to size. i usually wear a M in GO sizes, but i got my sweater in XS. i could probably go up to a S if i wanted a slightly slouchier fit.

i saw some printed floral t-shirts and tanks and a few knit tops as well, but i wasn't that interested in them. the material for the floral tank seemed really icky to me. but the cardigan is really nice -- that i can vouch for!

We havent go those cardigans yet but I have so many so Im not sure about them.
