Can't wait to see the whole Shanhai collection - the pieces I've seen so far look amazing!

^ So far off...*shakes head*...and the videos are still not 60 minutes each, as requested.. :(

Thanks!! ;) I love what he is doing here- you can see China in so many things, and yet it is Western as well, a women in one of these dresses would not feel out of place lunching in New York...the word genius is so over used, but I can't come up with another one... B)

^thanks. is it open during the week or weekend?

it opens during the week (and also saturday i think)
but beware, i've been there many times when it should be open just to find that they had closed before or that "karl was inside" or whatever so i wasnt allowed to get in :(

CHANEL GOES SHANGHAI: Karl Lagerfeld’s latest Metier D’Arts collection for Chanel will be unveiled on Dec. 3 in Shanghai, where the French house has just opened a new boutique in the Peninsula Hotel.
This is the eighth Metier D’Arts collection to follow previous events in Paris, Tokyo, New York, Monaco, London and Moscow – all locations that have a link with Chanel. Although Coco Chanel never visited China, she developed a strong interest in Asian arts and antiques, so Lagerfeld decided to bring to life the collection she never had a chance to create.

The Metier D’Arts collections were established in 2002 after Chanel acquired seven specialist Parisian ateliers that have collaborated with the house for decades, including Desrues, Lemarie, Lessage, Massaro, Michel, Goossens and Guillet.
