PS: i'm thinking... is there some pseudo-geographical subtext to the paris-shanghai website?
there's the "google maps" arrows and zoom on one side, and the clips seem to get closer and closer to the pictures of the store, and the shanghai exclusive collection, and the interview with marino et all...
am i right, or late realizing this or just.... on acid?

So do we have an actual confirmation that the show will take place in the new store? Because if it does, color me disappointed... The clothes would look so good with some chinoiserie stuff thrown around like in the press kit shoot.

^I don't think they've ever said anything about it being in the store, but there haven't been any special announcements regarding the venue, and the store is brand new, after all.

However, it would be a pain to take down the displays that were literally just put up days ago all for a one-time event.

paris-NY was in the store, tokyo was in the store and i am guessing this will be too.
many brands stage "smaller" shows in Asia for their big buyers (anyone seen Loïc's documentary on MJ?!? ) and considering they all have 5-story shops and things like that, i'm sure there's some "show" space.

another option is doing it in one of the hotel's salons (the store is in the same building as the Peninsula, right?)

there's the big wall of China around too... but that'd be beyoooooond démodé, hmmm?
