^This is all true.
For what its worth, I got from my friend that is seemed like Chris took her for granted and did his own thing with his guy friends all the time. This is coming from someone who not only hung out at their house plenty when he was not on tour and travelled with them and was in hotels hanging out with them so its all observations from over a long period of time

People mag ( who is usually more reliable than US) is reporting that Kate and Chris seperated b/c he refused to stop touring and settle down to a permanent address....
It said Kate wants to give Ryder a normal upbringing in a home, not a hotel or tour bus and Chris wasnt ready to stop the rock and roll life.

Isn't that something they should have talked about before having a child?

Anyway....
I agree that it's nice to see Kate on the cover of US ( although for the wrong reasons)
and, Orchide I am very jealous of your friend for getting to hang with Kate.

I would never be able to marry people I dated when I was 21- It's a funny thing, when you are faced with "the real world" after a few achievements, like a driver's license, legal drinking age , high school graduation,a movie or two (in her case) , college grad....anyone at the age thinks marriage is the logical step ( well alot of girls do)
usually it's not.
I think ideally between 28-20 and even 28 strikes me as kind of young for marriage...esp to someone who is much older.
I've dated guys that were much older than me, like 12-15 years and at the end of the day, they are way too old. For me, it was because the guy was really stuck in his ways and can't teach an old dog new tricks. He thought everything I did was immature, which eventually got to me. Instead of realizing my age beforer hand and letting me go through the motions of a normal 20 something, he ended up resenting me and I resenting him.
I feel that this could have happened with kate.
