I think it depends from which ankle do you see the dress.
From the front it looks kind of bad, from the side, stunning.

Kate seems to feel the same way.
She is standing at an angle in all the shots.
And grabbing at her stomach.
She doesn't seem very comfortable in it, which ruins it for me.
