Well, the older you get, the harder it is to get away with a party lifestyle without it starting to show on your face and figure, isn't it? But I reckon the heavy smoking probably did the most damage to Kates looks and that's legal!

I'm looking forward to reading Pearl Lowes' book. She looks so much better since she broke with the Primrose Hill set.

I see your point Harumi, that he might be a good guy behind the hell and suffering, but being around friends who had partners with similar problems and the grave danger it put them in, I find it pretty impossible to describe them as 'good guys' and I was very relieved when they split.

I agree that the break up is a good thing and I am in no way trying to defend Pete's behavior. What I am saying is one should despite the sin not the sinner.
To illustrate my point, I will use the movie Requiem for a Dream. It really shows how perfectly decent people can be reduced to the lowest of the low because of their 'little habit' and how people around them come to treat them as subhumans for it.
Now, I know you are nowhere near displaying such violence and ignorance, but I stand by my point that when you are in Pete's situation, good and evil are actually irrelevant. The only thing that matter is how you'll get your hand on the next 'treat' (I'm running out of euphemisms ).

This whole relationship is a case of Kate wanting wanting what she can't have. I totally had an on-again-off-again relationship with a beautiful boy/wh*re/heroin addict/hooker. It was so damningly seductive because he was super creative. However, I was in a low place ego-wise, so it probably made it all the more hot. Kate loves the bad boys. So did I. But I realized after a while that I only got sucked into the abyss. This guy is TOXIC!!! At least she had the common sense to be sperminated by Jefferson. Seems like a decent guy. As a spectator it's amusing to watch the drama of Kate's life, but if I were her friend I'd tell her to get the hell out and grow up.

exactly what i was saying in an earlier post but it got deleted...my own bad...

so i agree with you 100%...u used Requiem for a Dream as an example...i know ppl who have gone through this and when i read some of the posts here in this thread it makes me kinda sad cos some ppl are so ignorant...you dont 'choose' to be in this 'situation'!
plus, i dont think it makes a difference whether Kate is with or without him...she's an independent woman...i dont think that she got into 'bad behaviours' cos of Pete...she's been doing it since she started her model career...
people who bash Pete for doing certain things are bashing Kate for them at the same time...

Has this been posted? It's a link to Lindi's profile at Zero Models. She is not especially beautiful for a model, imo. She has more of the hard-faced Rebecca Loos look about her than Kate Moss, only hopefully without the ensuing godawful reality shows.
