It was just a couple months ago that Kate had picked Irina to model her Topshop collection for her. She's wasn't just a random model, she was a close friend of Kate, someone whom I get the impression Kate respects and is quite fond of. And now within the same year she's hooking up with Pete so soon after the break-up? Kate's probably still hurting over Pete... and now she's going to see her friend running around with Pete.

I feel a bit ashamed that I'm so caught up in the drama that goes on in their lives.

in a way that irina is doing kate's latest ex...not only that, but kate risked everything for pete... her career, her motherhood,.... EVERYTHING... and irina was her friend...so, no stabbing in the back, this is ripping kate's heart out

they weren' friends back then... and they were not close... but irina knew what crap kate dealed with just to stay with pete. and before hanging out with kate and doing topshop irina was just another runway model. now she has a name. that's like priceless. kate made her famous, so i belive that she thought of irina as a friend.
kate should just stick to sadie.

I agree with everyone who said that Irina is stabbing Kate Moss in the back.
Even if she was friend with Pete before,I think it´s really wrong what she´s doing now...
Kate is her friend and it´s so rude to hurt her while she´s going through hard times.
She always pretends like an exaggerated sensible person who wants to be good friend with everyone,and now her true colour shines through...

^ i don't know, if irina loves pete i don't think she should think about kate.. and i know that they weren't friends when pete and irina dated but that was not my point - pete is not just "kate's bf" for irina, he's "my ex".. do you understand what i mean? i'm sure she loved pete as much as kate did.. so i don't want to blame anyone without knowing the real story.. just because kate made irina the campaign model doesn't mean she(irina) can't get together with her ex because he's also kate's ex
and on the other subject, i knew irina waaaay before this topshop campaign, i don't really think this is a "huge" step for her assuming karl lagerfeld referred to her as "his muse" - everyone who is related to fashion already knew irina.. and, out of curiosity, have you ever seen pics of kate and irina hangin out? i mean other than the campaign shots? i haven't seen any.. are you sure they're really "friends"?

in my opinion irina doesn't owe anything to kate. irina had a career before kate came along, she was working with nicolas ghesquière and karl lagerfeld before kate even did anything with her. and irina didn't stab kate in the back, it's not even known for sure if irina and pete are dating. plus if kate is so stupid as to repeatedly go back to pete, then maybe she deserves it.

Maybe Irina worked as a model before,but without Kate´s influence she would just be an average model,but in now way that popular that she is now.

Apparently we need to do something about the rock star-to-model ratio, i.e. more rock stars, less models, or Pete's gotta start sharing more. I see him all bruised in a great heap of knees and elbows and cheekbones, really enjoying himself like we all know must be, but there's scores more models outside the door and only one Pete to go around.

Which really isn't fair, especially considering the mammoth live bill at Kimo's on a Friday night, nary a bona fide rock star or model to be found, and no one's looking over their shoulders for any, but we keep reaching, you see. We're just not pretty enough.

Irina, Kate--take good care of your Pete. I will save my lust for Frank Moore's Cherotic All Star Band. You all keep reaching, too.
