lol at pictures of kate and jamie skiing. you'd think they'd be really out of shape because of their lifestyles, but they look like they're having a goof time.

there is a nice little interview with Kate in this weeks Grazia magazine. I probably wont be able to get to my scanner until later in the week so a few titbits to bide you over until then:

first fashion buy: katherine hamnett boots. used to buy bags of clothes from jumble sales for a quid and make skirts from her mothers old jeans as a kid.
style icon: Julie Christie from the 60's/70's
favourite designers: ysl, mme gres., mcqueen, galliano, westwood.

Biggest influence on her career:
"I think Fabien Baron has been a huge factor in my career. He got me the contact with CK and I still work with him now. If it wasn't for him I dont know where Id be..."

fashion memory:
"Any of John Galliano's shows. John would stand on the runway and tell you a story about who you were. He'd say, 'You're a princess and you've just escaped from the castle and you're running away from the wolves,' and the wolves would be howling on the soundrtack and he'd send you out and he'd cry 'Run, Kate, run!"

Proudest moment in her career:
""It has to be the CK Obsession campaign which was shot with my then boyfriend Mario Sorerenti when I was 17 and he was 21. We created it entirely on our own - there was no stylist , no hair or makeup. We were sent to an island and just got on with it - and it ran for a really long time, 8 years, I think.
