I guess he thinks Ivanka will make a difference?

Who knows.. Business studies had always gone over my head in school, let alone now!

^ Yes! And there is a new season coming on here in the US in March..rather comical- the great business guru, who is involved in multiple bankruptcies...again...

i always assumed owning a casino = mon mons. hes apparently failing at it :|

Shock and Awe!! With Donald, these things only seem like a matter of time...In fairness, his jet is parked, last time I saw, in North Carolina (for some reason...) while they try to sell it (good luck...) But still- there are flights all the time to Palm beach...

The sacrament of marriage has taken a beating in recent decades, but it's time to take a stand. If Donald and Melania Trump's marriage is not the fairy tale story it appears to be, then all hope is lost.

Fortunately for us romantics, reports of that marriage's demise appear to be premature. Sure, The Donald is now spending weekends in Palm Beach minus Melania; but that's because the couple has a 5-year-old kid going to school in Manhattan. The rug rat doesn't get out until around 5 on Fridays, and it's really hard finding plane tickets that leave so late for weekends in Palm Beach.

Oh, wait. The Trumps have their own jets. So the excuse that Trump gave to People magazine doesn't make much sense, does it?

awww I'm actually sad for them. I don't know much about Melania but every time I've heard something about her makes her seem like a nice, sweet person.

BabyChums.com points out another interesting part of Donald's air tight explaition...:innocent:

"Although there may not be marriage problems in the Trump home it does appear that Donald wants his son Barron William Trump to grow up faster than he is as he made him older by 2 years.
“The truth is, our 5-year-old son Barron is in school [in New York] on Fridays until 5 p.m. and we don’t want to take him out to fly down to Palm Beach. So I have come alone."

Barron was born on March 20, 2006, which makes him only 3 years old.

Heaven knows you wouldn't want a 3-year old to miss a couple of hours of school...you know- blocks, finger painting- things like that...

And while Donald and Ivanka gear up for the next Celebrity Apprentice season, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports on his latest brillant business project!! (This brings the total to about eight, I believe...not counting the three bankrupt casinos...) Trump writes books and sells courses on how to be a successful businessman, btw...He is truly a business legend, huh?

Trump Towers project site in foreclosure

Feb 12, 2010 - If Donald Trump still wants a building with his name on it in Midtown Atlanta, he may have to look for another location. The location for a planned Trump Towers development could be sold to the highest bidder next month in a public auction.
A foreclosure notice has been published for property “at or in connection with 1240 Spring Street,” with 1240 West Peachtree, L.P. listed as the borrower, according to the notification.
Two $300 million high-rise condo towers were supposed to be located on West Peachtree Street at 15th Street, behind the High Museum.
Brent S. Gilfedder, an attorney with King & Spalding and who represent the lender, GE Business Financial Services, Inc., said it is the firm’s policy not to comment on its clients.
The property was purchased in March 2006 by Wood Partners for $21 million. The project was being developed by Wood and Miami-based Dezer Development, according to reports.
Construction was supposed to start in 2007 and both towers, housing about 570 units, were to be completed by this year. In July, Bennett Sands, director of Wood Partners, said the project was on hold, but not dead. Sands did not return calls seeking comment.

haha the story with Barron is funny.
I thought my dad was bad enough for not knowing what grade I was in but Donald, he just trumps.

I'm just curious: are Melania's eyes really shaped like that, or does she squint on purpose for the cameras?

No, she can look pretty normal- I think it's a combination of make up and her sultry, sexy look...! ;)

Billionaire real estate developer Donald J. Trump, right, his daughter Ivanka Trump, left, and attorney David Friedman exit U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Camden, New Jersey, U.S., on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010. Trump said he switched sides in the court battle over three bankrupt Atlantic City casinos that bear his name because he concluded he was losing to noteholders led by Avenue Capital Group's Marc Lasry. A judge will determine whether rival billionaire Carl Icahn or the noteholders and Trump will control the casinos.

^ He wears a black overcoat and a blue (Brioni) suit almost all the time...I love when he goes to events and never takes the overcoat off (most of the time); you see Donald is so important and busy he can't waste more than a few minutes with the 'little people', there's always a billion dollar deal he has to get right back to...

Donald's ex-sister-in-law Blaine, who is one of the genuinely nice and classy people in the family....She was a real big time socialite before she married Robert, and he, being a Trump male, did her wrong... Ivana hated her, btw- Blaine was everything Ivana wanted to be; tasteful, naturally beautiful, perfectly groomed, well mannered, well liked- in other words everything Ivana will never be....;)

Trouble For Trump Fort Lauderdale

In New York, the Trump Organization is preparing for a big opening party for Trump SoHo—but down in Florida, things aren't looking nearly as sunny for the Trump Fort Lauderdale. Trouble for the beachfront condo-hotel project began with the real-estate slump and credit crisis, but worsened in March, with a mortgage holder filing for foreclosure against the developers, SB Associates LLC.

Reporter Doreen Hemlock has been tracking this story for the Sun-Sentinel, and her latest piece rounds up a handful of Fort Lauderdale hotel constructions or expansions that have stalled due to the squeeze on financing. More than 80 condo buyers who never received their units were named in the suit against the Trump Fort Lauderdale developers, although the fate of the building is still unclear. Hemlock quotes one lawyer involved in the case who suspects it will eventually open as a hotel, without the condos.
The foreclosure process could take six months, but it seems that whatever happens to the building it's unlikely to carry the Trump name. Donald started back-pedalling almost a year ago, when construction stalled, and now the URL http://www.trumpfortlauderdalehotel.com is dead in the water. R.I.P. Trump Fort Lauderdale. We barely knew ya.
