No, seriously Donald- say what's on your mind...

Trump Called A 'NY Clown' In Spat With Angry Scots

ABERDEEN, Scotland (CBS) ―
Donald Trump is being called a clown as he trades insults with those teed off about a golf resort he's trying to build in Scotland.

Trump is trying to buy up land from property owners, but the Scots are refusing to budge.

Trump's private plane is a familiar sight in Scotland now that he's begun building what he calls, "the greatest golf course in the world."

But some of the locals wish Trump would go and play elsewhere.

"He's just a downright liar. He's arrogant, he's ignorant, what more can I say?" asked Trump opponent Molly Forbes.

Forbes lives on a run down farm with her son, Michael, right in the middle of Trump's planned resort. And $700,000 from "the Donald" won't entice them to sell the property they call "paradise."

Trump calls it a "pig's sty."

"It's a slum, I mean it's horrible the way he maintains it. Now I don't know if he's doing that on purpose, I don't think so, I think he just, that's the way he maintains his property," Trump said.

Trump called Forbes "the village idiot" for refusing to budge. Forbes retaliated, calling Trump "a New York Clown" with no respect for Scotland.

Trump has said his project is close to his heart because he doesn't have to reach far to find his own Scottish heritage. His mother was a Macleod, a proud Scottish clan.

Trump has renamed the stretch of land, "The Great Dunes of Scotland" in honor of his mother. But some Scottish protesters have vowed to trip up Trump by setting their own sand trap.

They've bought some of Forbes' land and have nicknamed it their "bunker." Golfers may have to face demonstrators as they swing through the 18-hole course.

Despite the problems, Trump promises golfers will be teeing off in 18 months. He dismissed the idea that the protests would hurt business at the resort and he thinks the ongoing controversy will eventually attract more visitors.

Oh my gosh. If I was put on ANY chip, $1000 or less/more, Id be insulted.

Its just..

Not nice

Just for comparison purposes, here is Menie House which will be the centerpiece of the new Trump Resort...

And Mr Forbes 'house' that he turned down $750,000.00 for... Just a coincidence that it sits right in the middle of the property for the golf course... :innocent:

I love how he throws around huge numbers like they are nothing...So little of his "wealth" is real, he uses this bizarre "if everything sold for top price overnight" formula he made up, and never mentions that he may owe at least as much as a property is worth on the mortage...;)

Interview with Donald Trump: I'm Worth $8 Billion
Donald Trump is the ultimate guy, brash and in your face. Forbes calls him one of the world's most overexposed billionaires. It's not so hard to see why. His hit reality TV show, The Apprentice, has gone on to become one of the most successful television franchises in history. His catchphrase "You're fired!" is one of those things we all dream we will be able to tell other people someday; his is one of the most globally recognized brands in real estate; and whenever he pens a book, it is sure to become a bestseller.
Some say he is proud, bogus, overrated, and too loud. He once sued a journalist for defamation. The reason? The journalist called him merely a "millionaire." The Donald was so angry that he sued for $5 billion. Who would have ever thought that one would find it slanderous to be called a millionaire?

But hate him or love him, The Donald typifies the American dream. Today, he is rich and famous. He has a wife to die for, and really smart children. There's a little part in all of us that yearns to be like him.
I recently caught up with The Donald at a restaurant in Manhattan where he talked about his story, the triumph and the glory.
How does it feel being Donald Trump?
It's amazing. I love my life. I really do. I wake up every morning, and when I read about Donald Trump in the papers, it hits me later on that the really awesome guy is me.
Forbes Magazine says that even though you are a billionaire, you are not worth as much as you claim you are worth. What exactly is your net worth?
My brand alone, the Trump brand, is worth over $5 billion. My personal stakes in the Trump Organization, and in several other companies, are worth over $3 billion. So do the math.
So you're worth over $8 billion?
Around that figure.
What book are you currently reading?
I'm reading Crazy Billionaires Speak, from Hodderway Books. It's a collection of awesome quotes by my fellow billionaires.
When you die, what do you want to be remembered for?
I want to be remembered as the greatest real estate developer of all time.
What does money mean to you?
It's nothing but a means of keeping score. It does not bring happiness. It never does; but it sure reduces stress.
Which billionaire is your dream apprentice?
Two of them come to mind. One of them will be Bill Gates. He's created a revolution. The other will be Richard Branson—he reminds me a lot of myself. I'm just the more awesome version of me.
What is the most important business advice you would give to young people starting out in business?
Never give up. Almost nothing succeeds the first time. Keep trying and you will succeed someday.

Ivanka Trump Has Crazy Expectations For Family Brand

OK — we’ll admit it. We kind of love Ivanka Trump. But while her upcoming line of shoes and handbags (to be created in partnership with Modani and available for purchase next spring), has the potential to make her some serious cash, it’s her attitude about her family’s brand as a whole that has us questioning our affection for the young mogul.
When she was talking to WWD about the new partnership that will make her line of shoes and bags a reality, Trump intimated that she had no plans to stop with people wearing her slingbacks and bangles and carrying one of her clutches on a ritzy night out — she wants everything that her and her father’s companies offer to be distilled into one big lifestyle brand.
“My overall goal is that every consumer will have the opportunity to grow with the Trump brand, from the purchase of Ivanka Trump shoes and accessories to ultimately staying in Trump hotels, playing our golf courses and living in our condominium buildings.”
Imagine how different your life could be if you lived in a Trump tower, vacationed at a Trump resort, wore an all-Trump wardrobe and had Trump-brand Greek yogurt and raspberries from the Trump farm for breakfast every morning? (And yes, we’re aware those last few products don’t exist.)
It would be luxurious. It would be shiny. And it would be 18 different kinds of expensive.
We love you, Ivanka, but we’re going to venture the guess that ownership of even a few Trump products is more than most people can handle financially. We’ll splurge on a luxe bag here or pair of shoes there, but all Trump all the time would just be too much, even if we weren’t in a recession.

Trump sells Atlantic City Casino
June 7, 2010 - Trump Entertainment Resorts has been able to revive negotiations with Coastal Marina to sell the Trump Marina Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City.
Previous negotiations fell apart in 2008 with both parties accusing the other of breach of contract.
Coastal Marina will purchase the 27 story hotel, 80,000 square feet of gaming space and 60,000 square feet of convention space, nightclub, three players clubs, four retail outlets, six restaurants, cocktail lounge and health spa for $316 million.
Richard Fields, chairman of Coastal Marina said that the casino hotel will be re-branded and refurbished to fit within their “Margaritaville” brand.
“Together with Jimmy Buffet’s team at Margaritaville, our plans are to create an exciting new property that we believe will tap its full potential and make it one of the most successful destination gaming resorts in Atlantic City,” Fields said.
“They are buying a wonderful building in a great location. It has been an important part of our company with a loyal customer base and a dedicated team.” responded Trump.

^ Gray Line is a bus company who has these double decker busses that wander everywhere full of smiling tourists and their cameras....(I always shout out and wave to them- the people are thrilled to have someone from cold-hearted NY say hello and not sneer at them!!) Anyway- I take it this tour goes by all of the Trump Buildings so they can tell all the folks back home how amazing Donald is!! ;)

^ The girls live together (Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA) in an apartment that is right around the corner from Trump Tower (which is where the executive offices and Donald's own apartment are located) and the offices of the Miss Universe Organization are also in the same building- and the Misses are beautiful eye candy for events who already work for him- so why not!! Plus- she will be in the Miss Universe pageant in August so I'm sure he wants to give her as much exposure as he can right now...;)
