I think that she should become a TV presenter, she could do very well. I can't see her getting decent modelling work in the long run, sorry if thats harsh . Its not only her height, but her look in general, she is would make a wonderful actress or TV presenter though. Lucky she didn't win as it would have been a waste like the years Demelza and Tahnee won. There is a reason why Elite sent Kelsey home and Amanda is still in NY shooting editorials. Why did Sarah say that Elite is signing both girls when they are only signing Amanda? strange

^Chances are Kelsey went home for the Aria awards. Supposedly Elite were very happy with both of them and she may be moving to New York next year. There is no news of Amanda even getting any work over there. Kelsey was signed too.

Amanda has been shooting her folio with Alex Covo. I am a Kelsey fan, its just I can see her becoming an Australian TV personality/celebrity as opposed to a world class model. Kelsey has a wonderful personality

One folio photoshoot doesn't mean she's actually booking work though (this is a discussion for a different thread). I think Kelsey would be good at presenting/as a celebrity, but in several years once she's done with modeling.

i sure hope Kelsey will be back in NYC after she's done with the contractual obligations in Oz.

Im not a Kelsey hater or anything (opinions negative or positive are allowed to be expressed), but I would love to see her do TV permanently, modelling in the long-term would be a waste. She did a great job at the ARIA awards. If she wants to try modelling maybe LA or Toyko, but not NY. You have to be realistic. Its the honeymoon period for her at the moment, her 'fame' from ANTM is not going to last forever. Can she book jobs without the ANTM title? who-knows. Kelsey is definitely a pretty girl, the exact reason why she should try TV.

Amanda is building her portfolio with test shots like any other new model. That seems fairly standard. I don't see how that reflects an inability to book work at home. That kind of seems backwards.

The Aria gig wasn't a contractual obligation and the post-show press has already wrapped up. What other obligations are keeping Kelsey in Australia?

Priscilla might want her to stay in Aus for a while and book jobs/build her portfolio here before going back to New York. We don't even know if she's still here or not. She might be back in NY already.

I am being realistic, I think Kelsey can and will book high fashion and commercial jobs in New York or where ever she chooses to work. She has a much more high fashion appeal than most other short (and tall) girls booking big gigs over there.

Kelsey is pretty, but I don't think she can match the other short top models around. Kelsey is no match for Bambi, Zippora, Hannah H and Kate Moss. From what I seen in the show, she has massive commercial appeal but no HF appeal whats so ever. But that doesn't stop her from making it big commercially in Australia. like saucer-like said, what is stopping Kelsey from going back now., I'm sure if Elite wanted Kelsey to stay, she could have pushed it back (NY is far more important then some small TV gig). The true test will be when her fame from being 'the wrong winner' is gone, her and Amanda can't forever be in the same campaigns, it is getting old now

As I said before, she might already be back in New York already. You can't know anything for sure at this point unless you know her or one of her agents.

I pretty much agree with this statement. This includes Sasha P, because she's not taller than 5'7. Kelsey has had one of the best portfolios of the show with the most variation. Bond brand even picked her to be featured in the latest campaign since Amanda couldn't carry it on her own, and that says a lot. I'm not disliking Amanda but she is clearly the weaker model of the two.

small TV gig? you must be joking. the ARIAs are one of the biggest events in Australia, basically the Grammys or the biggest music award wherever you live.

it might be small deal to you, but it's enormous for Australian celebs.

I am from Australia and I watched the ARIAs... I would have to honestly I agree, I would think NY would be more of a priority, the ARIAs get worse and less viewers every year.
