ON THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL —While a horse of Steven Klein's caused Madonna injury over the weekend, another Steven — Steven Meisel — worked with a horse last week for one setting of the "marathon" four day Prada Fall 2009 campaign shoot at Pier 59 Studios in New York. No confirmation on which models were involved, but a number of unconfirmed sources are indicating four girls — Kendra Spears, Anna De Rijk, Katlin Aas, and Miuccia Prada's current favorite, Ymre Stiekema. - fashionologie

A feud has erupted between rival modeling agencies over a pretty face who has been dubbed an "All-American beauty" and the "next Cindy Crawford," according to court papers made public today.

Ford Models has sued Next Management and Kendra Spears -- accusing the rival agency of stealing the 20-year-old stunner who had a contract with them after she was a finalist at Ford's Supermodel of the World competition last year.

Well, it's not like Next is unfamiliar with prying talent away from other agencies (remember Karlie Kloss?) But it is certainly something that Kendra would appear to be in breach of contract one year removed from a three year agreement. Methinks this will settle out of court. Nonetheless, publicity is publicity, good or bad, this helps Kendra's name and face with some free press. What better way to cap off a solid runway reason than to punctuate a battle between agencies?

I think Kendra should go back to Ford ^^ but I also remembered Elite suing Next for poaching Karlie and it's been a year now and nothing has happened so far...I agree with you SirSunday, good or bad publicity, it will definitely help Kendra's career and with a rumored prada ad looming, she's definitely a one to watch
