↑ A bit. But I think the Korean version's better. I actually hated it at first but I got to the kilig scenes and I was kilig too. I like using that darned word.

Kilig!!! Hahaha. That word is so funny. Full House was the first kdrama I introduced to some of my girl cousin's and they got kilig to the bones! LMFAO. Then they watched BOF and they even got more kilig. Haha.

Kilig is really a LOL~ish word. Back in the Meteor Garden Era (it's Taiwanese but it's a must watch. Swear!) my sisters would scream their throats hoarse because of too much kilig. It's a funny sight actually.

Hello guys! Sorry I've been MIA here. Been so busy and haven't been watching any dramas lately... gasp! I know!

Do I hear a remake of Full House? It's interesting when I see remakes of dramas because the story line is the same, but the dramas are all totally different! For example.. Meteor Garden, Hana Yori Dango, and Boys Over Flowers.

As for the kpop world... CN Blue seems to be doing extremely well, Sunmi from Wondergirls is leaving (or left?) and so much has been going on. LOL. Too much stuff to follow.

you're not alone! ive practically watched all the good dramas thats available for download, so now im stuck rewatching stuff. this is what i get for finishing dramas in less than a week!

I just finished You're My Destiny and I liked it very much. But damn it was so long! 170 episodes! Some episodes were kinda useless so I skipped them. I think the whole series would have been fine with only 50 episodes or so. 170 was just overkill.

I'm happy for CN Blue. I hope the whole plagiarism thing would just get out, it's not the band members' faults.

Did you see SNSD's new video? I'm really tired of the whole "catchy" trend right now, like where they keep repeating the same words over and over again. That's why I've been listening to a lot of FT Island and solo singers lately, too bad all you see in all these gossip sites like AKP are all about boy/girl groups.

OMG, did you hear about Shindong's (the heavy set dude from Super Junior) comment about big girls? Someone needs to look at a mirror. I don't get why these Super Junior members have such a big vendetta against bigger girls. I hope they realize most of their fans aren't the skinny type.

Hi! I've been away for a while too.
Seems so lazy to watch drama nowadays. Any new kdrama to recommend? But, honestly, I'd prefer the shorter type cause I'm the lazy type.

Yes, I've watched "Oh" by SNSD- the chorus is a little catchy, the dance is so boring and the comparison to Rihanna's "Shut Up & Drive". I don't hate SNSD, in fact, I like "Gee" very much! Maybe because "Gee" is too successful, it makes "Oh" falls flat in comparison- well, that's just what I think.

I'm a big fan of Super Junior (again, Kyuhyun) but what Shindong said is really offending. Naturally, girls are more conscious regarding weight and self image issues but that doesn't mean that guys can be fat and proud and girls must be skinny. As idols they should have lead as example but these guys are human too, they will make mistake and maybe that's what just slipped through his mind. I'm not saying Shindong is right but this will not make me a SuJu hater.

Btw, is Hankyung really leaving Super Junior? There have not been much news lately. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Any new songs that's catchy enough to worth listening to? As all of you have stated, I started listening to Abracadrabra and yes, I agree, it' very good!

I've been too lazy to watch dramas also. Feels like I've watched just about all of them! Haha.

Ohh, I just watched Snow Queen. It's kinda old though, but really good. You can download it here: http://silentregrets.com/completed-kdramas/the-snow-queen.php

You said you didn't like longer ones, but I do recommend You Are My Destiny, the main lead actress is from SNSD. Be advised, it's 170 episodes long, each episode is 30mins. You can download it here: http://silentregrets.com/completed-kdramas/you-are-my-destiny.php

If you want to watch Jdrama, then I recomment the Gokusen series:
Season 1: http://silentregrets.com/completed-jdramas/gokusen.php
Season 2: http://silentregrets.com/completed-jdramas/gokusen-2.php
Season 3: http://silentregrets.com/completed-jdramas/gokusen-3.php

I think what Shindong said isn't as offensive as what Leeteuk and Yesung. They called bigger girls lazy. I hope their mothers aren't of the bigger type because I would hate to be called lazy just because of my appearance.

I'm wondering about Hankyung also. No news whatsoever. I don't even know if they're following through with the lawsuit/break of contract. That would be bad for the group's reputation.

SNSD is the first veteran group that has come out with a new song, so I don't really know. All the new songs right now are from new idol groups/bands. I'm still hoping for a big soloist to come out because I'm tired of seeing so many people on stage at once, haha.

:blush:Oh, Kyuhyun's is 23 already.

Btw, anybody watch Cinderella Men here? Is it good? I heard Coffee Prince is nice too.

I haven't watched Cinderella Man, but I have watched Coffee Prince. Coffee Prince is really good. It's more believable than You're Beautiful (the whole female acting like a male thing), but the story kinda drags.

By the way, I finally watched What Happened in Bali and.... I LOVED IT! The ending was kinda weird though and didn't really get it.

Coffee Prince! It was dubbed on a local TV channel before. The story's quite good but it was bordering on predictable and cliché so I kind of fell out of it after watching 5 episodes. Actually, I watched the episodes on DVD before they showed episode 3 and I was disappointed by the story flow in general so I ceased watching.

I think Coffee Prince would have been better if the actors/actresses were more attractive and/or younger. Sorry if that sounds vain.:ninja::ninja:

I think in general most dramas would be better if they cut a few filler episodes; Coffee Prince was filled with useless episodes.

↑ If the cast were as gorgeous as... well, I can't name one show because Korean soaps usually have a gorgeous-looking cast lineup... I'm sure I'd "overlook" the predictability and still watch it. and yeah it had a lot of filler episodes, usually drama scenes I can't stand. :(

I'm thinking of watching Marrying a Millionaire in DVD. Is it a good drama?

Honestly, I haven't watched Marrying a Millionaire yet.

But the storyline seems interesting. Isn't it the one based on the Average Joe reality show?

Btw, I got my BOF-crazy cousin the DVD set and it costed me a pretty penny. She better watch it everyday for the rest of her life.

Oh, and I'm watching East of Eden currently. Kim Bum really did good in it. I wish they'd stop making him look so proper all the time because he does a better job at acting when he's not playing the "rich guy" or so called "handsome guy".

↑ BOF DVD's here cost only about $1! I bought one since I missed several episodes in primetime but I haven't watched it yet. Oh God I love the ending BTW... So sweeeeet.. :crush:

Yeah, I think that's where Marrying a Millionaire plot was based. Sort of The Bachelor or whathaveyou and the story seems pretty nice. I'll start on it as soon as I can.

I haven't seen any East of Eden DVD's here yet! Is it a good drama? My little sister, she's about 12, has Kim Bum's face plastered all over her Starbucks tumbler. How's that for addiction?

God, wished I was in Philippines. The DVD set costed me like $100 or so.

It's very good! It's probably one of the best dramas MBC has created. I was looking through its ratings, and out of 56 episodes, it only reached the #1 spot four times, which is very surprising. The storyline is amazing, the acting was great, and the whole visuals was good. I think where it failed to attract more viewers to become #1 was that at the end of each episode it didn't have those cheesy dramatic scenes.... You know what I'm talking about? Like when something is about to happen then they end it?

And I can't say this about any other long dramas, but I think the 56 episodes is actually justifiable. There was barely any filler episodes. Every episode was important. And plus, there was 3 lead roles and each one had their own storyline.

I think Kim Bum's face is more popular than his actual acting. Haha.

↑ Well Kim Bum's really cute and he has an adorable smile if I may say so. He's even cuter than Gu Jun Pyo, but, like, 99% of Filipinas are CRAZY over Gu Jun Pyo so maybe it's just my opinion (and my little sister's)!

56 episodes? Good Lawd that's long! 40-42 minutes each? or 1 hour each? Hmmm.. I'll try to research its storyline on the internet but it seems pretty interesting. Though I hope we have DVD's here.. I've been looking for it but no such luck yet. It surprises me how it's not shown here yet. So far we have Queen Seon Dok and it's a bit like... hmmmm... Ju Mong... so I don't feel like watching it every night.

Don't feel bad about the $100. (But if it was me I'd feel bad.) It's an original copy whereas we here actually support the piracy industry by buying pirated copies.

I think these days in Asia all you need to be is extremely good looking and you got it made in the industry.

Each episode is an hour. :innocent:

Hahah. I was hesitant to watch it because of the length, but after 5 episodes I was really hooked. The whole series takes the life span of the lead roles from childhood, teen, to adulthood. And the directors really focused on making sure they highlighted each stage of their life and not as rushed; that's why it's so long.

Oh, and it has some decent action to it. Not as much action as Iris, but definitely more than the usual dramas.

Is Queen Seon Dok any good? I'm always scared to watch historical dramas because most of them are kinda boring. Maybe it's because I'm not Korean so I don't appreciate the storyline as much.

I was actually going to buy the fake DVDs but I was scared the subtitles were going to be wrong. That would be horrible.

OHMIGOD. That's a promising series then. East of Eden will be my next DVD hunt! ^_^ Is it available for streaming in any site? I'll try dramacrazy.net.

About Queen Seon Dok, it's little good. I watched the first 2 episodes and, since its shown very late at night, I always sleep before a quarter of the episode has passed so I stopped watching it altogether. Yeah, it's a bit boring. Sort of like Ju Mong though I know many of my friends were fans of Ju Mong.

You should try deciphering Pinoy subtitles once. A fair number of DVDs have 'em. They're a pain if you're seriously watching the series. Subs like "I do all if travel the world looking someone find you" and you're like WTF??????!!!!!!!!!

I don't know if there's websites that stream East of Eden. I downloaded mine from SilentRegrets.com, but the download links aren't in order. It took me forever to download them in order. And then all the links are in megaupload so if you don't have a premium account, you're kinda screwed. Haha. I'm sure a website streams it since it's popular.

I haven't watched JuMong yet. That drama has been staring at me for a long time and screaming "watch me watch me!" but I can never bring myself to watch it.

I think the problems with some non-professional subtitles is that they translate the words into literal meanings so we really don't understand the real meaning. It's like when people have me translate english sentences into tagalog and I tell them some words don't exist.
