Wow, I can't believe she's carrying a Chanel bag... it seems so unnatural and forced and just not her at all! It's just the type of bag, it's too classic and feminine for her. I feel like something a tad more grungy and "worn" would be better suited... or maybe something from Balenciaga since she is supposed to be a "face" of that brand.

Maybe she should have opted for one of those fugly Chanel canvas backpacks. It would make more sense for her to carry sth like that .

I think her visit in Paris has something to do with Chanel. Maybe photoshoot?

Here comes the backpack

Kristen Stewart makes a quick exit out of her SUV as she arrives for a meeting on Tuesday (February 4) in Paris, France.

The 23-year-old actress reportedly met up with famed Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld at his office that day.

The day before, Kristen arrived at Chanel to take part in a photo shoot.

She could have left the bag at home. I get there has to be a degree of product placement as a brand ambassador but she could incorporate it more naturally like Keira does. I suppose it doesn't help that Chanel as a brand has their logo everywhere on their accessories.

I think her Balenciaga biker jacket in every outfit was better idea than THAT Chanel bag.

Bingo :D

I've got a feeling that it will be hard (and awkward) to incorporate Chanel to her everyday style. I immediately start to miss the old good Balenciaga jacket (which was a great choice for her imo ;)).

Yep, the ugly backpack is much better suited to her. I hate that she's the new face of Chanel, she so obviously thinks very little of fashion and I mean, look at her!!! Two Chanel bags, Chanel sneakers (?) and what I'm praying isn't a Chanel jumper. I always got the feeling that she thought herself so much better than the girls who cared about wearing designer labels on the read carpet and it just seems like she's "sold out". Is she just trying desperately to remain relevant now that Twilight's over?

My thoughts exactly! I don't get her motivation for doing this.
She doesn't seem to be this interested in making money anyways. I mean she sure doesn't spent it on clothes.

I think she misses it too (the time she could wear balenciaga) and while I don't think she doesn't like to work with Karl, I think it might not be entirely her decision.

^how can it not be her decision? she´s an adult. Even if her team/family wants her to do something, ultimately it´s her decision isn´t it?
or are there clauses on her contract with her agent that she has to do this type of things?

yeah it ultimately is hers, but she is an actress and enjoys doing her job, if she wants to get the gigs she wants she has to stay a minimum relevant. And there's definitely worse than being the face of chanel.. If her PR thought it was a good idea and Kristen has confidence in her, I don't see why she wouldn't have done it. (I mean what would you have done in her position..?)
(and if not, maybe she doesn't care about wearing designer clothes wherever but does enjoy the talent of the people she meets/enjoys working them on projects..? I mean she does talk highly about Ghesquiere and his work. Anyway all of this are just suppositions ^_^)

Synopsis

At the peak of her international career, Maria Enders (Juliette Binoche) is asked to perform in a revival of the play that made her famous twenty years ago. But back then she played the role of Sigrid, an alluring young girl who disarms and eventually drives her boss Helena to suicide. Now she is being asked to step into the other role, that of the older Helena.
She departs with her assistant (Kristen Stewart) to rehearse in Sils Maria; a remote region of the Alps. A young Hollywood starlet with a penchant for scandal (Chloë Grace Moretz) is to take on the role of Sigrid, and Maria finds herself on the other side of the mirror, face to face with an ambiguously charming woman who is, in essence, an unsettling reflection of herself.
Photography by Yorick Le Saux (Only Lovers Left Alive, Potiche, Carlos, …).

Wow, she is so pretentious, but at least she owns it. I really like most of these photos, she is so much more comfortable in front of the camera :)

Her pretentiousness is too much. Maybe it's because I don't think there are many actors or actresses her age who are truly artists. There are maybe one or two and she's not one of them even though she clearly thinks she is.

Like I said on the other thread, if her eyes and face sold it a bit more, they would have been good.
