Kristen Stewart

God, that hair needs to grow stat! It looks abominable. Also, I seriously cannot tell her 'casual style' images apart. Wish she'd get rid of that skinny denims.

agree about the hair, and i find her casual style quite similar to my 14 year old son's. it'd be nice to see her mix it up a bit more. but then she never has really.

Zero effort, this is just one of their everyday looks. And this is the face of Chanel. I'm sorry, but her looks just doesn't align with the brand. If anything, she's anti-fashion, and that's fine, but stay away from the fashion brands in that case.

No, please! let not her cosplay for a music festival as well! It bothers me to no end the endless parade of celebs dressing up for Coachella... it's not a fashion show, it's a music festival!!

A music festival where she's bound to be photographed, no doubt. She's not a model, she's a celebrity. Fronting a brand is more than just a compliment, there's a responsibility involved as well. It's a business after all.
Nobody will buy into her Chanel image on the red carpet when it doesn't extend beyond the red carpet, because what she's actually emulating would seem fraudulent. The style essence of the Chanel woman is classic chic with a twist - in all aspects of her life. Whether she's at work, at home, at a party. I dont get any of that from Kristen. I'm saying it's fine that she doesn't care to dress up off-duty (which is her real style, imo), but it's apparent she's just not a Chanel girl.

Or....maybe she got these campaigns based on her star power and attitude alone and not her style, which is probably more likely.

^But it would seem that she doesn´t have a contractual obligation to dress differently irl (same with other actresses like Mila Kunis). As long as they look put together on the rc where they´re the "big names" and not the "persons", I think that´s enough for the brands... otherwise they wouldn´t hire celebs like Kristen.

umm.. maybe i'm the only one, but i kind of like her look at coachella  her trousers look interesting and i love her sunglasses... i even like how she wears that cap! :D

Yes. I think it's bizarre to berate for not taking on her "responsibiity" as a brand ambassador when Chanel mgmt is certainly smart enough to pick up what Stewart's style was before and her general lack of interest in being "fashionable". It would have done more harm to both of their brands if she all of a sudden started popping about the place in chanel flats and couture jeans or whatever.

The unlikely pairing is what intrigues me. I always look forward to how they dress her for events; when it works, it's a pleasure to see. That synergy can bring in new, different clientèle (even if it's just to get a pair of sunnies) than a more typical starlet.

She obviously doesn't go to these things on her own time to be photographed and promote. I love the Batman shirt and I think she looks so cute!

As the photos are beautiful, I feel like that's the furthest thing from who she is!
