i still think the runaways was maybe her best. she nailed it! but thanks all for the recommends - will check out camp x-ray and speak too.

i really want to see sias maria though, above all. she's going to be in another french film now - olivier assayas' "personal shopper".

i guess we all had different reactions to still alice, but i maintain my position that she's very good in it. i thought she - along with julianne - saved an otherwise very "meh" movie. which is maybe why her performance stood out, actually.

Kristen to Star in Olivier Assayas' Ghost Story ‘Shopper’

Kristen Stewart is set to star in Olivier Assayas’s “Personal Shopper,” a Paris-set English-language ghost story taking place in the fashion underworld.

Assayas (“Clean,””Carlos”) previously directed Stewart in “Sils Maria” which world premiered in competition at Cannes and earned Stewart a best actress Cesar (France’s Oscar equivalent), becoming the first Cesar-winning American thesp ever.

Penned by Assayas,”Personal Shopper” brings back “Sils Maria”‘s team: Producer Charles Gillibert for CG Cinema, MK2 for international sales and Les Films du Losange.

Gillibert said “Personal Shopper” will feature some of same themes as “Sils Maria” and will also have a genre/fantasy dimension.

Shooting will start in the last quarter of 2015 in Paris.

Gillibert has “Mustang,” the directorial debut of Turkish helmer Deniz Gamze Ergüven, playing at Directors’ Fortnight. Ahead of its world premiere on Monday, the movie has earned great critical feedback while Ergüven is being buzzed about as a Turkish filmmaker to watch.

I just watched Still Alice because you guys' talk intrigued me. I saw her usual self, and her acting is not getting any better imo, apart from that last scene which was touching. However, I have to say in every scene she appeared I found her extremely stunning. Her face, eyes, I don't know what was going on with the lighting or make up maybe (or was it the hair), but I find this girl truly beautiful
