Kristofer Kongshaug was brave enough to present his own women collection for the first time during last Paris Fashion Week.
With very strong pieces and a beautiful choice of fabrics, Kristofer showed his collection to some of the most important stores in the world.
This young designer from Norway, started at age 16 as an assistant buyer for the Oslo high level multibrand store Voga. In 2002, he started his studies at Instituto Marangoni in Milan, but 2 years later, with a big interest in learning the construction of a garment in the best traditional way, he decided to move to Paris and continue at the "Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la haute couture".
With huge capacities in construction by "moulage", Kristofer develops garments with strong lines and interesting volumes, but at the same time very wearable.
His collection SS 09 ( only for press) was presented in the Oslo fashion week where he received the price of best new designer.
The AW 09-10 collection called "la couture morte: agenda caché" reflects a darker view of life and a question about the future with references of
Goethe's Faust and the film Suspiria by Dario Argento.
Love it!!
