"structural metamorphosis ", with repeated wear the fibres strech, crack and are deformed changing its aspect

excerpt from its special project to experiment with chemical yarn

you are welcome softgrey
that is "screen printed".
red knit inside out and laid flat and silkscreened with black.
so the back of the knit too looks like that in the pic while it's all black when you wear it inside out.
its uneven surface of the knitting makes the interesting infiltration of the black.
there will be short sleeve and long sleeve available for the set-in shoulder version of the "screen printed".
ribbed cuffs and hem are inherited from the features of that special project collection, and are unusual details for LUC knit top.
there is a saddle shouder version as well. it's the one in the JCreport pic in the cdiem thread. it's black-printed white.
they also have black-printed brown, black-printed grey beige, etc.

another good piece from the spring is a short-sleeved top which is sheer and light like knits from sacai, and on the loose side. it will be comfortable. the price is decent.
I'd like to wear it.

ahh...interesting.. wakatta... so is the sweater hard or 'crunchy' or is it soft?... is it comfortable?...

are you referring to the top in # 163 softgrey?
it's S/S 07 and not from the experimental line.
so it's normally soft.

oh--i see... so then what is the experimental one like... it that one soft also?...or is it stiff?...

honestly difficult to find the right word for it.
but I think it's not the same as what stiff and hard mean.
it feels like normal wool, but has some sturdy feel like, say, some kind of horsehide which stands up by itself.
or it could be sort of al dente.
it's not soft completely but nice and sturdy.

interesting...thanks for the explanation...
is it comfortable to wear?...

if you always like meltingly soft stuff, I'd say it 's not for you.
but even so I guess you'd never find it uncomfortable?
as for me, I found it comfortable in its own way.
I like that feel peculiar to it.
that may be relevant to the fact that I like both deerskin top, which is so soft that you can wad it up in one hand, and sturdy cordovan one.
I appreciate their concept and effort at etching time traces of being worn on it
in their way different from some conventional ways like washing etc.

without all of that, I would just enjoy it because it's magical and fun.

Miss Galliano it's mostly far from baggy when it's on you, apart from a few of the fabric pieces.
