bumping this.... i have a new love for L.A.M.B. bags... but I think I'm in love with the oxford bag... now i own one in silver and one in cheetah that I happened to luckily snag during the Nordies Half year sale..

Anyone else into these bags?.. or own any? post photos...

it looks like nylon to me (which is kind of a turnoff, because i like everything else about the bag).

If it was leather, i'd be sooo down for that one.

i'm loving the lucerne collection.. but it's way too expensive for me to pay retail.
actually some lucky people found them at nordstrom racks for practically peanuts..(the saxon tote was like $300something..when it retails for $875...)

i have the kensington 'camden' bag coming to me..
i'm really excited about that!!

and i'm waiting to find a 'chateau' from the signature collection at a decent sale price...:/ i don't care what color/print really at all...i just want one. except i'm not too keen on the lipstick/saddle combo...(but if the price is right, i'm sure i will grow to adore it!! lol)

The lucerne collection is REALLY nice.

I just saw a Lucerne tote (thought it's more Hobo-y to me) at a sample sale for like 276, I think? They also had it in a dark green.. but I decided not to go for it.

my sample sale finds. I have no idea what the stripe bag is called.. I dont' think the bag was ever mass produced.. so yaaay for me.

and a saddle rowington with the zipper that goes all the way around the gusset like the stock photos!... meanwhile the ones that were actually released/sold didn't have this zipper.. it's such a great detail, IMO

cool. i've seen that striped one on ebay....a limited edition or something...cool rowington too! i wish they would have hept the zipper on the mass produced line...

Jun3 I totally thought of you at the sale.. they had a cheetah rowington with the all around zipper as well.. picked it up and almost bought it... BUT.. inspected it again.. the latch didn't close properly.. turns out there were some hardware changes from the initial sampling to the final stages(regarding the latch)

luna, your stripy bag is the portmore - they were in production, but SUPER rare, so I think you got yourself a great deal!

I so want a silver bag, I was looking for someone to go to the sample sale for me, but they're probably all gone now.
What was the selection like?

haha! Yes.. you're totally right. It's nice to have a name put to it. I saw the smaller version and thought this was the only version... Actually, the smaller is the Portmore.. the larger(the one i have) is the Clarendon.

I've only seen a very limited amount of these on ebay.. maybe 1 or 2.. all were the smaller version...

ClickmeKate, Ugh, i went againtoday, I could've picked something up for you. I was asked on another forum by a few girls... but all the bags they were interested in were gone and/or damaged.

They had a few silver bags.. there was a silver Mandeville (yummy!), silver Eton, silver oxford, actually.. there was a wide selection of silver today at about noon.

Saddle was limited.. Rasta was sorta limited. Cheetah was completely absent.. there was an abundance of Kensingtons and Frosted Love.. and regular love.
