i don't know if this is the right thread but thought it was ok to post this here. (if not, mods can move it somewhere else)
yesterday bought some books for school and found this one.
La mode parisienne - la gazette du bon ton 1919 to 1925 (an iconographic collection of early XXth french fashion "magazine" La gazette du bon ton)
it's an "occasion" (only 9€!!) but the book is just amazing so...
I hope it will interest someone.
I won't make an historic of the Gazette du bon ton as there's a very well writting and very interesting "preface".

don't you think Fashion in the early XXth (and even before) was PERFECT!!!!
I mean so many outfits for every moments of the day!!!!! of course you needed to be rich. but...so WONDERFUL!!!!!
(there are so much illustrations...i would say around 80)

If you're in New York, check out MEGA ZINES at the Visionaire Gallery on Mercer. They have tons of amazing magazines, new and old, and the whole series of these.
 
there's also somthing like that in paris. it's by rue des archives or rue du temple. cannot remember the exact adress. but it's very very expensive!!!!!
