I got is soon after I posted that, so yes, it took a good 3 weeks time. And I had to pay $45 custom duty and taxes. This makes me hate my country. I once paid over $60 on custom fees.

How did they ship your item? UPS? I'll definitely think twice before ordering from them.

Hey ladies, how is the sizing on their coats? Do they run big or small? I understand that most of the stuff ships from France--does that mean the clothes are actually European sizes and cuts? (I'm petite and tend to have trouble with coats I find in department stores being too big on me, even when they're in the smallest size available). I do find BCBG's xxs tops to fit me rather well though, do the size 2 or 4 from La Redoute fit similar? Thanks!

The sizes are european. there is a different between 34 and 36.
It sounds like you are slim, so maybe you can pick the smallest size

i'm in the uk, but only the french site has the item i want - does anyone know of any french codes that would work to get a discount?
i would SOOOO appreciate it if anyone could help.
i really don't want to pay full price, as i know how many codes float around for the uk site!!

They are having a big liquidation sale right now--the American site will be shutting down on December 16th. It makes me a little bit sad because they always had something nice. If Newport News were to close I could finally close the doors on catalog-to-web shopping in my life. (I hope they don't; now there's a brand with a great balance between horrible and very nice...)

I didn't even know La Redoute had a thread on TFS.

I'm not surprised they're shutting down the US branch though. Even here, the whole distance selling suffers a lot from crisis and competition.

The Vanessa Bruno stuff used to be available in my country but I haven't seen it in the recent catalogs, is this collaboration still going?

I haven't ordered anything from LaRedoute in quite a while, they had a lot of horribly off-putting neon and pastel stuff in the recent seasons that didn't impress me at all. Prices for the better stuff seem to have gone up, too.

I don't think I've ever ordered shoes from LaRedoute, but they always have a great selection of boots!
