Just stopped to really listen to it and pay attention. It's really nice and well written. I've seen other singers do this monologue thing in videos and fail miserably, with silly pretentious texts, and I wasn't expecting Lana's to be that bad, but not this good either. You can see it's someone who has the habit of reading, who chose each word, and doesn't mean to sound genius. Hopefully the video will be great as well.

Amazing video BUT I would prefer it a bit shorter, without the intro and the end. The images and the lyrics already convey what she says in her monologue, so the 10 min length is tiring and unnecessary, imo.

Good lord, just when I thought she had reached a peak with National Anthem... Ride is seriously mesmerizing, stunning footage and photography, beautifully written and produced, just one hell of a video.
