Wow great video! She went beyond my expectations once again.
The last part wansn't necessary indeed, considering the intro and video are strong enough, but it doesn't bother me either, I think everything was very well done. She looks amazing, the styling fits her perfectly, the casting is great, it has drama, humor, rhythm. My special props to the director and director of photography.

Could've done without the extra romantic babble. Other than that, I LOVE this video. The scenery, the photography, Lana, everything!

I know some people may find her wearing the "Headdress" offensive, but as a Native myself, I love the symbolism. :D

Anthony Mandler has really surprised me. His videos aren't usually exciting but with her he really nailed it. The result was extremely good and I could feel it.
"Blue Jeans" is still my favorite video from Lana, though

makes sense, given the ideology of "ride" (and her jaguar deal)
i liked the first shoot better, but this is nice, too

Read some complaints about the monologue of the video.. I think it's beautiful, the storyline would have zero impact without it, I wonder if she's purposely (at least to me) hinting at Paris, Texas. Cause that's what sold me right away, that faded American ideal, which she masters there.

i am seriously loving that video. it's breathtaking and oddly invigorating ...? something about her seems very honest. i'm growing to be a fan.

The short film was done extremely well. The moodiness and the rawness was rather chilling and yet pleasurable. I have Lana's CD, but the song Ride definitely tops the ones on the album for me.

Am I the only one who hadn't listened to the demo version of Lucky Ones yet? I just accidentally found it on youtube and it's become my new addiction. I'd never think this song would make me wanna dance, but the demo does, I love the rhythm :meow:

(Interestingly, it came to my mind while I was listening to Bruce Springsteen's I'm On Fire. I guess one song reminds me of the other because of the "I'm on fire"/"bad desire"/"take you higher" parts )

^I liked the earlier version of Yayo better :( But all the new ones sound amazing!

Now Body Electric says "Mary prays the rosary for my broken mind" or am I listening to it wrongly? and what's the phrase she says after broken mind and before the chorus?

It sounds like "I say don't worry about it"
