Alessandro needs to be dressing her full time for all events (including performances and music videos). She clearly can't dress herself, otherwise! Haha

Her skills are clearly in the recording studio (and skilled, she is), but it's been a long time since she's had an elevated look that compliments the lush stylings of her music. What's great about the look Alessandro made for her is that it totally suits her, in the sense that it is flattering, but also it suits her persona. It doesn't look like a random stylist came in and dressed her in the latest Gucci...the whole thing works and wouldn't have worked on anyone other than Lana. It's great.

Hope she keeps it up!

EXCLUSIVE: LANA DEL REY CROWNED THE NEW FACE OF GUCCI GUILTY

Lana Del Rey joins Jared Leto as the new face of Gucci’s seminal fragrance Guilty. To mark the announcement, the fashion house will be throwing a party in LA’s famous Hollywood Forever Cemetery tonight. Joining the two glamorous stars of the campaign will be Gucci’s creative director Alessandro Michele, as well as Courtney Love who will be documenting the festivities with an Instagram stories takeover.

As well as being the spooky venue for the party, Hollywood Forever Cemetery will also feature as the backdrop for the new campaign. Launching worldwide in January 2019, it will include a video and images and reveal the new bottle design for Gucci Guilty Pour Femme. This is not the first time Alessandro Michele has taken inspiration from the famous cemetery. Pieces from Gucci’s SS17 collection were influenced by the landmark after Michele attended a party there in honour of Johnny Ramone.
