^ah, that last picture scared me ...but I love the pants in the 2nd pic, very chic

Right. The second look and the Mary Kate Olsen look are the best, IMO. That is the way you do them.

Review of Les Chiffoniers PVC pants

(pic from net-a-porter, but I bought them from Intermix)

When I walked out of the store after purchasing them I was like "D'oh! Total impulse buy!", plus they were final sale because they were on clearance. But then I got them home and I started playing around with them, now I absolutely love them! I love the giant zippers at the sides, if I didn't already have plain leather pants I would buy the leather version as well, I saw them on sale too. They run pretty true-to-size, but as you can see in the third picture they stretch A LOT. I probably could fit into the smaller size, but I kind of like that they're slouchy. The store was sold out of the smaller size anyway. I love them, I'm just glad I didn't pay full price!

^ they look nice on you! they definitely add something different and special to an outfit.

although in general, i think they've lost some edginess since the thread began. they're available everywhere now, from forever 21 to target. although i've actually never seen anyone in real life wearing them.

I wish it was socially acceptable for men to wear them because I feel as if I have the perfect frame for them. I love a skinny jean, but the legging is so less restrictive and free. I wear American Apparel leggings, I might as well make the progression to the latex legging.

Boo, just go for it. Styled the right way, I think it could look really hot on guys. Especially guys with a slender frame.

I'm not sure what people are talking about here:

American apparel leggings are 'wet-look' lame- not latex
Other similar styles are in lurex (the metallic ones) or lycra
Or are we talking about leather leggings

Real latex leggings are made from tree sap and require specialist care and dressing aids to wear. I haven't seen real latex leggings anywhere outside photo shoots and the pussycat dolls.

Or are we talking about vinyl/ PVC which is shiny plastic that may or may not be fabric-backed.

most of leggings called "latex leggings" are made from PVC not real latex of course;) leggings from latex will be veeeeery difficult or even not possible to wear...

I think we talk about many different kinds of leggings here : leather , wet look and PVC ones

I just ordered the Kova & T latex leggings from Saks.

Here's my question: what kind of pumps to wear with them? Patent seems like a big NO (at least black patent) ... so then, suede? Kid leather?

TIA!

legaldiva You're right - patent absolutely won't be good but I think both suede and leather should fit and look great :)

Thank you! I'll post pics when they arrive ... Saks hasn't shipped them yet. I'm impatient!

Yeah you should wear them, I have a pair of the Sass and Bide Black Rats totally in love with them.

I wear them with long tshirts and usually white plimsoles, get so many good comments about them too.

I got these babies today. They are Kova and T. And I'm in love with them. They ended up sending me two pairs at the cost of one and I don't even feel sorry about keeping both of them because their service was awful.
