i was in H&M yesterday, i didn't see any leather leggings there...

i know they are from the jimmy choo line they come out on the 14th nov (i plan to get them if they fit ok!)

my friend , designer made that leggings to her newest collection and gave them to me after photoshoot

they are not from real leather but look great - almost better than my Chiffoniers

I prefer leather leggings or leather shorts. I saw a really nice looking pair of leather pants in Michael Kor's collection this season. They can look really polished and chic with fitted blazers or sexy with bustiers! But I prerfer to wear them in a preppy way.

i saw that KOOKAI is selling real leather leggings in their website for € 160 only, there's a boutique close to my place i'll check them...

i went to check them... and i'm hopeless! i came back home with them... shame on me!!! well they are awesome, lamb leather (cuir agneau) really soft, it feels like a second skin, but they are not stretch, but as nice leather they stretch a bit, anyway they look and feel amazing, other point to mention they don't make my legs look like if i was wearing black condoms on them, meaning the leather goes really smooth on the skin. love them!!!

Transparent? That sounds like an interesting look. I've never seen that before.

I'm quite amazed with how popular leather pants are this year - and no complaints. For example, I just had lunch, and without even trying, so to speak, I saw 4 different people walking by wearing black leather pants. And, 3 of the 4 were clearly going to or from thier offices. It's nice to see that look breaking into the mainstream, even if just a bit.

They look like they could be Les Chiffoniers, but I'm not sure. Paige Premium Denim also has a pair like these in the pic. Took me a while to get through this long thread, but I'm happy to see people reaching for leather pants again. I have had the same pair in my closet for about 10 years now. I pull them in and out. I can't imagine not owning a pair. I do not, however like leather leggings. Boy is that a waste of money!! Why anyone would plunk down beaucoup dinero for leather leggings is seriously deranged. When leggings go out of style, and they will go out of style, you're stuck with something really pricey!!!! Leather pants however, despite what mags say, NEVER go out of style. Well at least not in my fantasy world.

For me, whenever you put on a pair of leather pants (and you should always buy them snug, because they will stretch out), it's such a nod to rock fashion. One look at Chryssie Hynde in a pair of leathers, and it's easy to see why this is a failsafe way of exuding a tough chic. In addition, they're an easy piece to fool around with. Pair a hippie style blouse with them, and you've got that hard/soft balance just right.
