Latex Leggings / Leather pants #1

sorry but leggins from PVC and from patent leather are two different things for me... not only those from leather look better but also comfort of wearing them is much better - ( leather is natural fabric , PVC not )

as I know only one company make this patent leather and that's why buying leggins from it is so difficult , the process of making this fabric is also very expensive so rather only good brands decide to make leggins from it and that's why they can't be cheap...

I've seen several companies advertise their leggings at patent leather, and they are made from nylon\spandex.
Express is one I can recall at the moment. It's much like Bloomingdales calling their leggings latex, when they were actually 'latex look' and made of polyester\nylon\spandex.

yes , You are right , many companies make them from polyester , nylon or spandex and advertise them "leather leggins" - they just use much more cheaper fabric... and those aren't hard to find

but there are also some that make them from real leather with lycra for example : Givenchy , Marccain , Topshop ( the only not expensive company that made such leggins from this fabric as I know ) - I even found one pair of Topshop on Ebay but size 40 and I need 36

the problem is that all of companies made really small amount of them and they were sold out very quickly maybe I'll manage to buy them from any spring collection

Are these leather leggings also referred to ask treggings? I'd imagine they'd be extremely warm in winter but too bad I can't pull them off!

I saw leather pants in Topshop but I didn't like them
now I'm looking for leggins made from leather with lycra ( those marccain were made from this fabric ) but they are really hard to find

Leather is not a fabric, it is skin/hide. I have never seen leather and lycra mixed together the way cotton and lycra would be mixed together ( woven or knitted).

Most stretch leathers I have seen have a lycra fabric BONDED to the leather giving the leather ability to stretch (usually more in one way than another).

So when Velony mentions Topshop having stretch leather leggings for an inexpensive price, it could very well be the same treatment that the leggings that you are looking for have. The difference could be in quality and labor costs, that's it.

I have in my hands sample of leather on cotton + lycra - I don't know how the process of doing such a fabric looks like but I completely sure that such a thing exists also know that it is rather expensive (about 60 euro for 1 m) and not possible to buy for private person...

Topshop had leggins from it but as I wrote there were small amount of them now I saw only skinny pants ( that I don't like )

anyway I found smth. yesterday - when I have it I'll put some pics

I found leather leggins on polish portal - similar to ebay , they were made by denmark company - on a site of producer look veeeery good but in real photo not so good - they were too short for me - only 81.5 cm long I need about 85cm

Is it leather ON cotton+lycra or leather WITH cotton+lycra? There is a big difference.

The only reason I brought this up because I haven't even seen leather THREAD ( i have seen leather CORD). Thread is what you need in order to weave fabric.

I think the fabric I saw was leather on cotton + lycra - that I was also told by designer who showed me the sample...

on net I found only one company from France that makes such leather ( I suppose that this is the same I saw ) If You'd like I send You link to their site

I bought the Kova and T leggings last year and I love them, I wore them when i was pregnant alot, I also have the sass and bide rats that I got in spring (r they diff then the ones out now?) I have a pair of helmut lang leather leggings/pants and they are fabulous, I got a 0 in those and they fit perfect, on the other hand, I bought a pair or rich and fabulous or whatever they are called in a 2 and it ripped as i was trying it on, on the revolve clothing website they said to go up a size!! huuuh!!!

I want to know it too ...cause I wait for a delivery ( I`ve just bought Simple Stretch Leather Leggings from their online shop )

on a pic they look absolutely hot , I think I`ll get them after Christmas / before NY
