I don't see why not.:)

Layering is really a quick way to "customise" your look and get more wear out of what you have.

Layering is definitely cool looking, but I've seen some kids around here going a bit too far with the idea..... :innocent:

That is true.

A lot of things "accidents" happen because people want to follow a trend or they think a certain style is cool, but something always goes wrong during the execution.

i like this ...
thanks for the thread kimkhuu...

I like layering, but if it's done elegantly, without too much clothes.
I love it with delicate dresses, like the Chloé look, in order to make a dress-up dress more casual.
As someone has said before, for me is the best way to customise your look when you have to shop at hight street or similars.

I love layering if done well. Sometimes it gets a bit overdone and tasteless. Layering just for the sake of layering.

somehow layering has always been there no?
great choice of looks Chiangsi, the Dries and the Chloe peasant dress
also like the Aquascutum looks Kim posted

Just what I thought, Lena. It's always been there...

layering is my favorite way to wear clothes!

i love the ones that were posted here and will find some of my favorites to post.

thanks everyone!

Of course layering has always been there, but it's just been a few years since the trend went really really mainstream.

I find layering really flattering for all body types. finally a trend that everyone can enjoy.

layering has always been a big thing in the San Francisco Bay Area, I think, where the weather changes quickly.

Lol I've been doin that since Grade 9.

It looked bad though coz my undershirts would slide a bit on one side...

Thanks for the pics ! Esp. love the chloe dresses and aquascutum ones.

I don't know which show it was or when but they putted basic white t-shirts under dresses and it looked cool.

well, layering has always been there, but like mentioned above about those in 'frisco doing it because of the weather, it was always a *practical* thing to do. the layering popular nowadays is so totally *unpractical* youve got people layering in 90degree weather (...er... guilty as charged:blush: :innocent: ). i love the layered look, both elegant and messy :flower:
