I think small bags are super cute, but I would only use them for clubbing or something. Being a full-time university student I'm am constantlly carrying around tons of junk so I'm obsessed with big bags.

Those Stella McCartney bags are cute though!

i agree. tiny long strapped purses are perfect for going out at night. especially when you need to dance... i just found another 80s plum suede with leather trim. it's tasteful and has a great little shape. it fits a celphone, keys, wallet and tiny bit of makeup. yup.

has anyone noticed this trend so far? small shoulderbags with long straps than can be worn across the body seem to become very popular, especially for clubbing etc.

i love little bags with long chain straps but it's just impossible to fit anything into it! Especially now days with cell phones, pda, ipod, makeup, keys, gum, money & cards etc.....even when i try to carry just my phone, keys and card case, i can still barely close my bag!

^^that's funny that you mention it...a while back my mom was mugged and the guy took off with her bag. ever since then she refuses to carry a large bag and only uses little ones with long straps like the ones in the pictures. she said it's easier to conceal under her coat!
