Leggings

Tunics, shorts, and dresses are ok with leggings. I have seen them with shorts and tunics. I think they are the best accessory in a while. Footless tights are great with shorts and tunics, also. I have seen footed and footless tights with shorts and I think this is a great fall style. Now in the summer, maybe nylon spandex leggings are ok with shorts, skirts, dresses, tunics.
In the california market - Bonnie Amie, Forever 21, Charlotte Rousse, Papaya and other trendy stores. Footless tights are available at Walmart, New York & Co, smaller women's clothing stores, and even indoor swapmmets. Angelica footless tights are great for the price.

^^ I've actually never tried tunics with leggings... How do I do that without turning myself a big mess? :flower:

Tunic and leggings

YOu should be able to do it. Leggings with UGGS or ballet flats and a tunic that goes either just past your waist or a little longer. Try it.

i love my leggings so much.

i wear them with flats & a shirt that are supposed to look like dresses, catch my drift ? lol

OK, I messed around with a few footless tights & full-length tights combos at home. What do you think? I'm not certain I'd actually go out in the street like this but it is at least more interesting than the black leggings and denim mini skirt so many girls in my town wear!

Excuse the somewhat dodgy camera and pasting skills.:P

I don't really like leggings. However, on the occassion when I feel like wearing a dress, of which the hem lies above the knee and at the same time am not feeling too confident with the legs, leggings can be a savior. LOL! I know. I'm weird like that.

me too!
i don't wear footless tights >.<

IMO the last one is the best!

I'm over the cropped leggings, but I really love ankle-length leggings worn as pants w/ longer tops for a casual look.

Ex: I work black ankle-length leggings w/ an extra long C&C white tank (hits bast the bottom of my bum), black flip flops, and a loose sweater jacket. I wish I would have taken a picture, it's one of my favorite looks I've put together in a while.

A high school Class of 2007 girl I got to know recently wore a red T-shirt, black leggings to the ankles, and some cute pink flats. Funny enough, she was stretching a little bit at the student lounge of my community college. Her style was a bit like dancer chic. Funny enough, she had a style kind of like a dancer, especially with the combination of leggings and flats. See what happens when you wear leggings as pants and not as undergarments to mini skirts? I'm all for leggings as pants paired with flats or even some high-heeled shoes. Most ladies still are reaping the benefits of not looking silly by wearing a mini skirt with leggings.

Someone was joking about how leggings prevented a guy from inadvertedly(?) looking up a girl's skirt. I found shorter leggings to expose more of the legs in beautiful detail without looking silly. I still say you take that chance wearing mini skirts regardless. Thing is, even very short leggings can look just as tacky as long ones if you're trying to look hot wearing both at the same time. One day, the need to dress up in body-hugging slim bottoms will come to an end. Long live looser and wider garments!

I never really liked leggings especially those ones that just end near the ankle and everyone on this planet pairs them with flats and a miniskirt!!!

But ever since seeing the F/W collections, especially Marc by Marc Jacobs, the grey legging can look really nice with winter clothes! Also, all those H&M ads with colored leggings can look nice on the right person.

I think a skinny black pant can also look good as opposed to a legging.

I didnt see the Marc by Marc Jacobs F/W collection leggings... can someone post some pics?

Here are pictures from the Marc by Marc Jacobs FW 07/08 show...I think they look like sweater-knit tights rather than leggings, but pretty much the same thing I guess.
