Like laurlaur said, she probably was given certain advantages because of her father. But come on now, look at her, i mean LOOK AT HER! You can disagree with her beauty (as I can think Mariacarla is boarderline werid and Doutzen's face is much more suitable for commericial modeling such as Sports Illustrated, than hi-fashion) but you cannot question that she got the neccesary features (whether sufficient, you can argue) for a hi-fashion model. Do you see girls with that kind of bone strusture walking on the street everyday? Hell, I don't even KNOW anyone that even come close to that. Do you think if she is camera shy, 5 '3 and slightly over-weighted (no offense to anyone), she can be where she is today? EVEN if her mother is the queen of England, she couldn't have done it.

But, oh yea, all of these talk are only 'what if's........................EXACTLY my point. If you think her face is boring, say it straight up. Do not try to assasinate someone's talent and hardwork by stiring up some 'what if' speculation about her status today is because of her background. Yea, my existence today might be caused by an elephant farted in Africa 20000 years ago, so what? Does it really say anything about ME? None of the speculation so far has proven in any way she does not deserve to be who she is now or she didn't earn it, which is what REALLY MATTERS.

Sorry if I came off harsh but that comment about 'if it wan't for her father...' totally disgusted me. If someone said she is a ugly little pig it wouldn't have bothered me as much. That kind of assumption is not just unfair to Lily, but to anyone who has worked hard to achieve what they got
